It was so quiet and relaxing we had lovely weather on the Saturday sat outside our van we could have been abroad .

We was not told about the wifi so didn't use it if we had the code we would have used it.

The tent pitch areas

The caravan pitch. It was like a back garden and for £36, it seemed a lot

Brilliant setup. Greeted by friendly and efficient staff who checked us in and answered our questions - the kids love animals and when the gentleman who helps you get your kit around the site overheard this, he switched our pitch to one right next to the neighbouring cows and sheep. It's little touches that really make a difference and the kids were thrilled.
Pitches are a good size, clearly marked and well spaced out. There were a couple of larger family groups, including one that were having a fairly noisy time, but the sound didn't seem to carry and we weren't disturbed by them at all.
Facilities were clean with plenty of hot water
We had Pizzas from the hut and the onsite boat bar was a great touch. All run by lovely, friendly people.

I'd love them to add the facility to separate rubbish for recycling. Hated seeing glass bottles, tins and food scraps all being sent off together to general waste

The whole experience from reception to packin up. Super friendly staff and the site itself. Great location and very dog friendly. Toilets, showers and washing up areas all well kept. Definitely will return soon.

Upon our arrival, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful member of staff who transported our camping equipment to our allocated pitch. He gave an overview of the facilities and then returned to our pitch with the firewood that we had pre-ordered.
The camping pitches are a generous size, with plenty of space in between and are situated not too far away from the toilets and washing up facilities.
The bar and the pizza wagon were a great touch and reasonably priced. We had full vegetarian cooked breakfast on the morning of our departure, again, decent portions and good value for money.
This well thought out campsite adjacent to a marina has everything to offer campers and we will definitely return.

The check in process was flawless and everyone was really welcoming. They will arrange for a quad bike to take your camping stuff from your car to your pitch so if you are travelling with young children or as a single adult you don’t need to worry about making lots of trips back and forth. The pitch size was incredibly generous. We were so pleased with the space. Even with a 6 man tent we had space for all our chairs and a place for the children to play football.
