Myself and husband were looking for a quiet mini break and came across the lovely pods. It was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The toilets and shower blocks were clean, the washing up area was clean and well maintained. The grounds are stunning and well maintained. We were made to feel so welcome and could of happily stayed longer. We had a day fishing and caught loads, and had great advise from other fishers too. Breakfast was priced well and was spot on! The grounds are beautiful, so looked after and very clean. The fishing lake is outstanding with plenty of well looked after fish.
Nothing is too much trouble and always done with a smile. We stayed in the Deer Pod which was just so perfect and cheap! - I've paid more money for worse hotel rooms.
The beds are comfy and the pod has everything you need in it while finished to a very high standard.
Toilets and showers are spotless and one added bonus is, it's adult only!
I can honestly say after 3 visits, the guests are lovely and welcoming too!
Our highlight - Friday nights get together in the Cafe.

A very nice lady named Alison took care of all our questions with a very sunny disposition. Nothing was to much for her and had in depth knowledge of all aspects of the site (including the fishing) and does a reputedly excellent breakfast. Facilities were flawless and with most other users of the site being friendly made it a pleasant and relaxing stay. Plenty of other people with dogs like us but all were well managed by thier owners. We will definitely stay here again when touring this part of the country. Also will mention Bill who we think is the owner of the site who was very welcoming as well.

The owners were so warm and friendly, the luxury pod was beautiful with near by showers and toilets which were kept absolutely immaculate, there is a little cafe on site in which we had a nice breakfast. The signal is out of our hands at the present time, as the phone companies are upgrading the signal, we have gone from a very good signal on certain networks to a poor signal, while they upgrade.

I am glad to see our warden has done her job, they take the security of all our guests belongings seriously (we will get to know people the more they come) as we have lots of returning guests, also many seasonal guests. But be assured , everyone’s property will always be a priority so security is very high on site with 24hr CCTV electric gates
