Beautiful setting. Very clean site, the toilets and showers were emaculate.

My children aged 6 and 7 loved the play area. We all enjoyed the trail round the site looking for the 'green man' carvings.

A wonderful weekend. Very helpful and friendly staff. Looking forward to our next visit.

Everything. Absolutely everything. We have stayed on hundreds of sites in tents, caravans and Motorhomes but this is honestly up there with the very best. The setting is beautiful, lakes, ancient woodland, wide open well kept fields and the site is absolutely pristine, including grounds, toilets, showers etc. Beautiful walks on the doorstep and lovely villages within walking distance with the best pub food we’ve had in years and loads of dog friendly places to choose from.
Jodie was absolutely lovely and couldn’t help us enough. She called before we arrived to ensure we found it ok and explained all. She met us the following day and gave us loads of great advice for the local area and even downloaded OS maps for us. Super helpful, thank you.
We will definitely be coming back again, and again.

Nothing, absolutely nothing

Huge site, tonnes of space for the kids to run wild!
Free choice of pitch in the rural field area, good surface
Great little park with good quality play equipment,
Fresh clean shower and toilet facilities.
BBQs allowed (raised), helpful staff and happy for the kids (6 & 3) to have a practice with the fishing rods, keeping clear of the "pro's" obviously!

The visit from the local Ice Cream Van was welcome, doorstop service!

Cant' recommend highly enough for a quiet getaway.

Probably my own incompetence - satnav on the post code took me close to another fishing centre, turned right instead of left at the last junction before the site. Only a couple minute's detour, no big issue, just something to remember for my next visit.

This site is perfect!
We couldn’t recommend this site enough, it’s really spacious and perfect for everyone. It’s such a peaceful place but still great for kids with a playground and goal posts dotted around the site. Its beautifully maintained and great for dogs as they’re allowed off lead past certain points on site. The facilities are something else and feel really thought out with a shower block, toilet block and dressing/laundry room! We will most definitely be visiting again and hope to make it our regular site!

This is a great site, clean, tidy and friendly staff. The pitches are the biggest I have come across. It’s well maintained and the surrounding area is lovely. The play ground my kids enjoyed (7&10). The woods around the site we all enjoyed. Good location, small Co-Op nearby. Allowed fire pits and you could buy wood. Lovely new shower block ( the best I’ve ever come across). Will def be back

Only one drinking water tape for such a large site but this wasn’t an issue

This is an absolutely amazing site and is now our new favourite local site. Lots of space and lovely sized pitches, great play area and lots of lovely space to walk the dogs which with many sites seems to be disappearing. Very friendly wardens and will be visiting very soon and regularly. There is absolutely nothing to complain about with this site
