The site is in a great location, brilliant for walkers. The cafe was lovely, looks great and the breakfast was delicious.

The site is large, it is quite a walk to the toilets and shower block.
The toilets and shower block need a refit.

We stayed in one of the Yurts. It was beautiful. It had everything we needed and the king-size bed was very comfy! The toilets/shower block were pleasant and were cleaned often.
The staff were amazing and so kind and helpful. The on site cafe and bar was great and I would highly recommend the pizzas on a Saturday night :)

Lovely setting and staff very good. Nice to have shop and cafe on site. Pizza brilliant.

It was very busy. When we arrived at 8pm there was no space where we were told to park our camper. Wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't such an expensive campsite. Pizza was great but cafe was too full to use as the weather was not great.

Really lovely campsite which is aimed mostly at young families and school trips. Well kept; clean, tidy and beautiful lawn.

There is a farm shop, cafe, and pizzeria on site which was great - the pizza was really fantastic quality. There is also a pub just opposite the campsite.

Very close to the train station which was really convenient

Great 10km circular hike from the site which includes a gorgeous river with pools and waterfalls, high mountain peak, some major scrambling over big rocks and boulders, and some quiet woodlands. We only managed about 1/3 hike before heading back, but we really enjoyed dipping in one of the pools in the river along the way.

Dogs are permitted but have to be kept on a lead at all times which was a little frustrating for us.

There is also a 10pm curfew for everyone, it felt a bit weird being told to go to sleep at 10pm as adults, although we did appreciate not having other campers partying loud and late into the night!

The facilities - showers were warm and high pressure, kept very clean.
Staff - all friendly and useful with knowledge of the area including hikes and routes to explore
The cafe - incredible food, filled up on a gorgeous breakfast before a day in the wilderness for a very good price.
On-site shop - for the few bits we forgot and a couple ciders for the fire it was incredibly convenient to have a small shop 2 seconds from our tent!

The whole site was well run, easy to book, check in, come and go, and pitch up on arrival. Everything was located super close and the Reception could provide all the information or supplies we needed eg camp fire.

There is a train that passes every few hours which honks its horn passing through Edale Station but this is easy to get over and make jokes about.
