Fantastic clean site. Has a lovely little park for the kids to play at and a nice little lake for older kids to fish. The Wardan was fantastic very happy to help and super friendly to talk to. Throughly enjoyed our stay in and will 100% be returning, couldnt fault anything. If you dont want to cook there is a pub just next door with a lovely play area. Some great walks on your door step too if you like a wonder. Cannot wait to return

Very pleasant warden who gave us all the information we needed as we arrived at the site, especially the magic gate through to the pub. Pitch was a level, gravel one with easy access to electric point and water.

The pitch wasn't screened so there was no privacy, the toilets were clean but totally inadequate for the number of pitches in our opinion 2 toilets 1 small wash basin and only 1 shower for each sex with no room to change, there was a charge for this too. No hot water for washing up. Site only suitable for very short stay we feel, we were just there overnight to rest on our long journey and to be fair booked very last minute, however, we wouldn't have been very happy had we booked for longer. Incidentally the pub next door definitely needs a refurb!

A lovely little site, with decent size pitches. All the pitches are around a small fishing lake, very scenic when waking up on a sunny morning. Any trouble on the camp was not tolerated, and delt with immediately, and apologies given the next morning by the on-site warden, who by the way is a lovely chap, nothing too much trouble and explained everything in detail on arrival. The site is well looked after, wether your on hard standing or grassy pitch. Unfortunately, we had 3 days heavy rain, but the drainage was good and soaked it all up. The toilet/ shower block is a bit small but adequate. It cost £1 for a 5 minute shower. The washing up area is just around the corner from the toilet, and only has cold running water, but whats the problem with that.
Overall a brilliant stay, and would definitely go back.

Having to pay extra for showers

Wonderful weekend away. Lovely site with good amenities. Small site but still enough room for kids to have a little play on grass areas and a little play park. Toilets always clean and well stocked. Only a few but never had to wait long for them. Shower nice and hot. Really nice welcome by the warden and felt well looked after throughout, good local advice on places to go and see. Lovely pub next door that served a wonderful Sunday lunch. Nice canal walk down the road and not far into town to visit shops and cafes.

Beautiful campsite, impeccably run the warden, who was diligent and thoughtful. We have accessible needs that he went above and beyond to accommodate, unfortunately despite best efforts the toilet/showers are not fully wheelchair accessible however the pub next-door are willing to accommodate needs. We look for to visiting again next year when the new accessible toilet/showers should be installed.
Excellent site with clean facilities and a warden that really cares about the campers and their happiness.

We love this site. We were here a few weeks ago and I was desperate to come back. It’s only 15 mins away from home but we could be a million miles away.

What a lovely site, with lovely owners and such a friendly warden.
The facilities were spotless all the time.
The pub was accessible through a gate had free pool
Throughly enjoyed our weekend.
