Leigh is really nice guy and a great host, fab with kids who really enjoyed feeding the animals. It's fairly quiet with plenty of space on site. Location is good.

No grumbles for us. A little noise (not a lot) from bar in evening might not be for some people perhaps but there's pitches up the hill well away if you want it really quiet.

Nice rural site with clean facilities and a little bar which closed at 11pm so quiet at night. Lovely outlook. Friendly staff.

Such a lovely campsite! You can tell the owners are well loved by return customers. First time staying there and they did everything to help you out from having everything incase you forgot anything and being flexible on times if you needed it. The toilets and showers were really nice best ones I've seen in a while for camping. They have a shop and bar on site and a massive camp fire they do on Saturdays and they also had a pool while we were there. They have chickens which come out and say hello to you. With a view that is to die for! You will not be disappointed if you camp here and there's no noise so it is really peaceful.

Arrived at New Inn campsite for two nights in June and booked in with the owner on arrival. Leigh was really helpful and told us to basically choose any pitch. You can drive your car to your chosen pitch and unload then pitch up, you must park your car in a carpark by the main pub when you have finished which is a 5 minute walk away from the furthest pitch. Leigh told me that this rule was in place for safety reason's. They have an upper and lower field with absolutely stunning views of the surrounding area. Leigh came over and offered a box of heavy duty tent pegs for us to borrow because the ground was so hard due to a week of hot weather. He has chickens which roam around the lower part of the campsite which is mad to see but they are friendly and very curious, eggs are for sale which are laid that morning. And after buying some we can honestly say  are delicious. They have a great outside bar which is very popular and opens in the afternoon until about 10.30pm. They didn't have my wife's chosen tipple but Leigh went out of his way to buy it. No music is allowed on site but Leigh said having a speaker on low was fine, as there wasn't many on site. Toilet and shower facilities are clean, tidy and spacious, shower was lovely and very spacious inside. Campfires are allowed and also provided by each pitch. Leigh was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. My wife and I have been camping for a few years now and this has to be our favourite site so far and we can't wait to return.

We stayed here just for the one night on a motorcycle pitch. This is one of the best campsites we have stayed on. Everything was perfect. Leigh & Michaela are lovely and so helpful from the second you arrive. You feel like you are meeting friends with them, they really do add the personal touch. The site is in a gorgeous location, with lovely views.

Facilities - all proper toilets, sinks and showers (Leigh is a plumber). There is a small bar and shop onsite too. Fire pits available to use free of charge and just a small charge for a bag of wood. They even light it for you. Fresh water available too.

They have different activities on, details are on the noticeboard in the toilet block. Including a group fire and s'mores for the little & big kids.

Leigh took the time to talk to all guests. Making you feel more like a friend than a customer.

The chickens like to come and say hello, they are very tame and will come over to you. Easily shoo'ed away if you don't like them.

We will definitely stay here again, looking forward to seeing the pub finished too. Some of our friends arranged a booking while we were there after we told them about it.

Having to come home!

The owner has created a lovely camp site on the grounds of an old pub which is currently being renovated. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who is very friendly, and showed us to our pitch which had plenty of room for our needs. There is a clean toilet block and a shower block with lots of hot water which is free so no need for coins.
In the evening there is a bar run by the owner. It has many different drinks available and seats outside where you can sit and chat.
One really nice thing that we noticed was that the owner kept the kids busy with games, for families who were packing up to leave, which can sometimes be stressful keeping an eye on kids at the same time as packing !
Also there were several farm related activities that families could take part in as there are farm animals onsite.
Overall we really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.
