Welcoming friendly place kids loved it , bouncy slide , pony’s , chickens , the owner gave the kids a ride on his quad ( they loved it ) Bon fire on the Saturday too .. not as upgraded as some camps but toilets were clean and it has a washing area . We had a lovely few days

Couple of campers with loud music but that’s expected . Did try to add photos but site says they arnt big enough 🙈

How relaxed it was and very local to shops etc, the owners came and interacted with us and took kids on quad bikes would highly recommend to friends and family

I liked the fact I wasn't the only one that was disappointed in the site and the only one that was nearly over charged for a 1 star campsite

The fact there was a very large group of men on the site all dri king and apparently doing drugs with loud music on most of the night the facilities where not clean and there was. No hot water in the wash up area. Pitchup price was 90 pound for 2 nights with electric when I arrived I was told I had a balance of 120 to pay which I disputed. The facilities where not the cleanest 1 shower for men 1 for women. Dogs running freely and not under control. As I was taking down my tent the 3 horses that live in a fenced off area where let out to roam free. No swimming pool as advertised and the inflatable was filthy. All In all not the best site for a first time camping with my children oh and no signage on the road to tell you where to turn into site drove past 4 times.

We had a great time, the owner is a lovely man, very helpful, it was also a very quiet area to stay you only here a bit off traffic, definitely safe for children to play, their were also a bouncy castle for the children to play, and the owner offered the children a ride on his quad

Just the floor of the showers, was a little muddy nothing you can’t clean

Washing facilities look homemade although they do work. No locks on doors.
No hot water to wash up.
Owner seems obsessed with cramming tents close together (possibly took too many bookings)

Good location to explore surrounding areas.
Owner always present on site.
Basic facilities on site. ponies/horses graze in the field in the mornings which is a treat to wake up to.

Lots of midges and horse flies- take repellent!

Owner wad amazing and very welcoming got very involved with the gull site and entertaining the children

We both liked the facilities that Jacksmere camping had to offer, the views overlooking the neighbouring fields were amazing, they had a swimming pool and bouncy castle for kids and even if you didn’t book an electric pitch they had a few outdoor sockets for you to recharge your items. There is electric pitches you can pay for extra as-well. The farmer gave the children a ride around on the quad and made them really happy lovely people and good campsite.

The field was rather long and could have done with a cut as our car is quite low and collected all the flowers and grass as we drove to our pitch, when booking you get told the bathrooms are cleaned every half an hour but we didn’t see them once get cleaned, the swimming pool for children was green and children couldn’t go into it. The campsite also was a pony field where the ponies would be let out to roam around so don’t forget to close the gate .There are electric pitches however these are under the trees and putting a tent under the trees to let the birds poo on the tent and windbreaks isn’t the best. The field was not quite flat and the pitches are just anywhere you like.
