Our first time camping and was impressed with everything, some of the other campers helped us, as our tent was brand new and struggled, lent us a tent for the night. Location for our trip was perfect, just left early on the Friday to come home as we had planned to stay for the texas bbq but will be back!

Nothing, site is brilliant and anything that was wrong, no one has any control of wildlife, dogs barking or birds singing

Not many campers so plenty of room

The noise through the night from barking dogs. We were hoping this was a one off occurrence so we visited again. Second time was worse. The barking was horrendous, you cannot get any sleep.

The whole site was very well kept, the toilets and showers very clean, and the waste water etc very accessible, and the cow shed fab place food really good a great atmosphere will certainly be coming back.

Nawton Grange Camping and Caravan is very relaxing, welcoming and quite. We had a none electric pitch, loads of room, field was well maintained, flat and clean. Easy check in. Owner was very helpful and friendly.

Shower and Toilet Block Very Clean and also worth mentioning that there is a separate Disabled Shower Room.

Please try to take cash - cash is king for small businesses. They do appreciate it.

There is a pub about a 20 minute walk. Whitby is 45 - 50 minutes away.

A very good stay and would certainly go back.

Friendly welcome, very child friendly (was with 14, 10 and 3 year old)

Great location, close to lovely towns and villages and not too far from further away attractions.
Nice open flat field.

Not owners fault but noise from nearby kennels was pretty constant and affected my sleep every evening and they were also loud during the day.

Absolutely brilliant place, Everyone was really friendly, The facilities were top spec and really clean, Loved being on a farm with the chickens roaming around and the horses and cows in view, Gave the whole experience a great feel. And the onsite bar was great, Amazing food and good quality beer on tap. Thank you so much we will definitely be staying again.

When we arrived we pretty much had the pitch to ourselves which was nice. By the time we left the field was nearly full (it’s a shall some of the new visitors were abit noisy early hours). The facilities were clean and tidy. Location was nice as it’s a short drive into hemsley. The owner greeted us when we arrived and she was friendly and answered our questions. The kids enjoyed seeing the horses. We didn’t go into the cowshed (bar) so can’t comment on that.

Unfortunately the noise spoilt the stay a little for us. As stated in other reviews the constant barking of the nearby dogs disturbed our sleep. To top it off the first night we were unluckily enough to have the farmer in the field next door harvesting until about 11pm. There is also something near the facilities (a generator/pump?) making a constant clanking noise. Also had to clear up abit of dog that was near where we pitched up. Wi-Fi was slow and kept dropping out and we were close to the entrance
