Great location. Quiet site. Clean facilities.
Very helpful lady that worked there, I think her name was Fiona, she was very knowledgeable about the local area and gave us recommendations for quiet areas to visit.

Hot showers but only 3, I didn't queue, but I was in there early. Reception yurt served tea and coffee and sold good quality basics. Home made pizza available on Saturday night. Not vehicle movem etc on site after 8pm. 10.30pm quiet restriction was adhered to.

Communication could be better. Arrival time is before 8pm as reception closes, however on final email it does say if you happen to arrive late your name and pitch number will be on the white board. I arrived at 8.30pm due to traffic delays, I did call at 6.30pm and left a message to say I wasn't going to make it in time (travelling from Surrey on a Friday, it took 7 hours!). No one got back to me and my name wasn't on the white board, which was a bit stressful for a moment wondering where I was going to stay. I found an empty pitch in the end and then moved to my allocated pitch the next morning after checking in. I only had a small tent and it was just me so no great bother.

Location of site was lovely.
Shop on site was nice but expensive.
Showers and toilets were nice and warm and cleaned daily.

The pitches are far too close together.
There was a very noisy family near us, who were being very loud after quiet hours.
I emailed the site but didn't even get a reply.

Facilities were amazing and the shop had everything you could possibly have forgotten!

The site is very clean and well maintained, the staff on and aroind the site where very friendly and helpful. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here and im sure we will be back in the future.

The addition to the shop is a fantastic idea and really helps with daily essentials.

The fridge/freezer and laundry area is also a great add on and really helped with storing food and drink.

The cleanliness of bathroom is excellent and well stocked.

The experience was really good and my children loved it, the site is very calm and you feel at home when staying here.

The pitches are fairly close together but we use windbreakers for privacy so no issues

We stayed for 4 nights and would happily have stayed for more. Its lovely little place, not too many people.
I loved the strict 10.30pm no noise rule. It meant you could sleep in silence.
The owner was SO polite and helpful! She showed us to our pitch and where all the facilities were.
The showers are no frills, but they are clean and hot!
We had pizza on Thursday, freshly made to order, on site.
Washing area is clean and so is the drying area.
Everything is easy to find and looked new.
I don't remember the lady's name in the reception, but she was so helpful! Nothing was too much. I can see why it's a popular place!

We were on pitch 4, and we did have some difficulties with hammering in the pegs. The grass near the road was softer and much easier to peg.
The grass near the hook up was very rocky and very difficult to peg.
I would 100% recommend getting steel pegs for pitching here.

There isn't a ton for children to do, although it is child friendly, I would say it's more suited for older children.. but even though I have a child myself, I quite liked it. Less noise lol.

The shop is lovely, it's got lots of character, it's welcoming and friendly, but it does only stock the bare essentials.
A little more variety would have been lovely, in terms of foods. But that's it.
