The location and tranquility. It was a very peaceful and relaxing break. It had a lovely array of animals around the lake.

We were fortunate that we had the site to ourselves so we had a lovely few days. However, had there been other campers, I think we would have felt crowded. There are no obvious secluded pitches which I thought was shown in the photos.

Absolutely loved our stay here! We only booked the one night but had the space to ourselves and we wished we'd booked for longer! It was so peaceful and we'd certainly come back again. If you're booking to stay, don't forget the insect repellant and a supply of fresh water.

Almost got caught out by there being no running water at the site - the lack of drinking water is clear from the check boxes but worth being aware of if, like me, you don't always read the fine print
