The main camping area is flat, level and well maintained. From its raised position the sweeping views are beautiful and unobstructed. There are full flushing portaloo toilets and a shower, all of which are immaculate. I'm not sure if these facilities are for the occupants of the Yurts, (very nice and luxurious inside, we snuck a look as there was no one using them at the time), but we took full advantage of them. There are no set pitches so I guess its just reasonabilty how much space you occupy. There is also an area of open woodland a little way from the main area where people were set up. This was more seculded and seemed like a real adventure for the young kids that were staying down there.
We had our dogs with us and there was plenty of open fields for them to run around in during our stay but i believe they are used for livestock at certain times of the year.
We would highly recommend the site.

Hi Graham, thanks for your comments. they are appreciated. We are a basic site that is growing organically from what was just a field last year to, hopefully, becoming a much loved and visited site. Whilst the basics aren't for everyone in many ways they are our strengths. Our facilities will improve over time but we are restricted somewhat as we are in the Green Belt.
Sadly our access track is also a farm track and has taken a bit of a hammering this last winter. We normally renew it when the the rain stops and weather picks up. Sadly its been a bit of a battle this year due to the exceedingly wet spring we have had. Hopefully its now drying up so that the track can be improved.
