It is an exposed spot so not much natural shelter from wind. A shower block would make it possible to stay for more than a night

The views, toilets, no noise rule, value for money.

No fault of the owners for the most part but the planes were a little noisy through the night and could be improved with showers.

Nice small campsite which is very remote, quiet and has tidy toilets.

There was no reception or owner present, which wasn't an issue though.

Hard to say a lot, as we have only stayed there for one night. We liked that peaceful location and the fact that we could pitch anywhere we wanted as its a basically working farm with bit of land for tents. Also what's worth mention is, that we could have a fire pit, it's a dogs friendly campsite, but due to the animals around they must be obviously kept on leads. Site is tidy with always clean toilet facility. Don't expect shower blocks - there is not any. Good campsite for backpack travellers I'd say. I would recommend if you walk in Peak District and looking for place to rest for night or two.
