A really lovely, small campsite. The owners were super friendly and helpful and the facilities were always super clean. The pitches are a lovely size and, because it’s not a large site, there is a lovely feeling of community, while still having plenty of space to yourself. We would not hesitate to return.

Can't fault the campsite or hosts at all.

Location was great, very quiet, we walked to the beach and to the village, we had a short drive to the Nature Reserve. Missed out on the lighthouse this time, but one for next time. The Campsite itself is small and beautiful. It appeared like a film set to me with the design, cleanliness and attention to detail: flowerpot areas, games shelf, artwork mural, colourful painted wood, all seemed new and labours of love. Facilities were like a home from home, everything to make your stay comfortable, WiFi, charge points, kettle, microwave, showers (all pristine) with picnic area and slide, swings for younger children. The entire area seems sunbathed most of the day, the field is level, rectangular and has tree borders, pitch to the left if you want most sun or to the right if you prefer a little shade, plenty large enough pitches. I stayed with my adult son and dog for a last minute 3 night mini break. Had a lovely time and would definitely recommend especially for a peaceful beach break or walking days exploring.

This is the second time we've stayed at this site. It has been quiet when we've been as we prefer to come midweek. For a. Small site it has. Great facilities- 3 showerts/toilets, charging points for phones etc , fridges - all free to use. Board games and books. Free WiFi.
Large pitches. Friendly owners who come to ask if e erythema is OK.
A very pleasant walk to a spectacular beach. Close to a small village. Bus stop immediately outside the site.
About 30/45 mins drive to Bangor, Caernarfon and Snowden.
A perfect site.
Can't wait to visit again

Nothing to dislike

We absolutely loved our stay at Maes Tywyn. The view was absolutely amazing and the whole place was super nice and clean. I would definitely go back to this camp site.
We had WIFI on the very end of the campsite that allowed us to study during the stay.
Orgininally, we have booked the stay only for 2 days and later we decided to extend it as it was such a great place.
There is a lot of places where we could rest around the campsite. Few tables and chairs to give us more places to sit have a coffee and study
The stay was absolutely 5 stars

Since returning from my weekend at this lovely little campsite I keep telling everyone I know what a great find it is and that I'd happily go back.
Very friendly owner with the cleanest facilities I've ever had at a campsite. Little kitchen with fridge and kettle as well as available fire pits are brilliant addition too.

Well, what can I say. This site had everything we needed from start to finish. The site was clean, very well maintained, well run and had exactly what we needed as a parent of two small (7&4yrs) children.

Toilets were clean, showers were hot, kitchen area with fridges was well equipped and was great to know we could store some essentials in the fridge / freezer.

Play area and stacks of games / books amd toys was great and kept the little ones entertained whilst I put up the tent.

Terry and Jane were most gracious hosts and clearly nothing was too much.

Location was excellent as we went paddleboarding on the beach and lakes, both a short drive away.
