Grass areas looked clean and would be nice for summer months.

Overpriced for the quality of the facilities. It's only worth around £22 per night for a caravan. Grass is very boggy. Site directions as advised on pitch up are completely wrong and the owners should be using what 3 words for the site entrance. Location is not great for walking and cycling. Very windy as located high on top of a hill. Approach road is long and bumpy so need to drive with caravan very slowly. Hard standings are too narrow and if you want to use an awning, you are likely to be setting it up on mud. You call on arrival but owners do not keep tally of bookings so weren't expecting us.

Lovely quiet pitch with good facilities. Super friendly staff and a cute cat on site. Decent enough shower and toilet facilities. List of local pubs/shops available.

Very peaceful site with good views and lovely farm animals around. Decent hot shower.

Toilets and shower need a bit more maintaining as the shower became blocked and the toilet roll/hand paper ran out. We knew it was a basic campsite and we were ok with that, just think the toilets and shower could be checked and cleaned a little more frequently.

Pitch was in a great spot very family orientated. Lots of wildlife and quiet away from all sorts of road noise etc

The road in is a bit lethal if you have a lower car. We have an auris estate and we bottomed out the car three times and that was driving carefully. Could do with hot water for the pot washing facilities.

Hard standing pitch, scenery and location. Friendly farmer and Steve who looks after the site, really helpful. Good location for walking or visiting the lovely villages nearby. Clean facilities.

Tent field is quite flat and well maintained. Fabulous views. Sun all day long. Friendly and helpful site manager. Unusual farm animals: Alpaca, Ostrich, Rare sheep ...

Lovely campsite in a lovely area, we had a very welcoming site manager, Steve. Strongly recommend to anyone, even new campers!

Please keep in mind there are only three toilets and one shower, which are very clean and convenient.

Toilet facilities not enough

Well-maintained pitch with water and electricity behind each pitch. The kids enjoyed seeing the animals and there was plenty of space for them to play. The warden greeted us on arrival and explained where things were. The countryside was beautiful and it was only ten minutes drive from Bakewell.

The site was let down by the facilities. We are used to basic, but they were not particularly clean, there was only one shower so people queued in the mornings, and in the cubicle containing the only shower the toilet pipe was not properly connected so you could see sewage being flushed and it smelled very bad. The shower temperature control was broken so it took a couple of minutes of standing in cold water to find the right setting, and every time someone flushed a toilet the water ran boiling hot so a shower took longer than it should. All in all not ideal.
