Fantastic stay at this beautiful peaceful site. Weather was great. The lake was a perfect spot for paddleboarding. Our girls had an amazing time. Very relaxing stay. Thank you.

We have been before so we were disappointed and felt the site had gone downhill abit.
No one to meet us on arrival.
The geese roaming free maybe a nice idea but having geese poo all around and on the picnic benches and around were kids are barefoot is a little disgusting.
Finding out the cafe was closed on weds/thurs in high season also disappointing as good have done with somewhere to go while grand kids played on the lake.
We also bought some kindling but was more like shavings.

Lovely little campsite perfect for a family with kids and not far to travel.

Geese let to roam around the lake area so lots of poo to avoid in bare feet.
Lake could do with weed clearing a bit as did put the kids off from getting in.

Plenty of room set aside for each pitch, separate fields for children and dogs to let off steam and a lovely lake to swim in. Staff are friendly, showers and loos clean with a plentiful supply of hot water. Quiet sort of a camp , peaceful sleep had. Cafe on site is good for cake and coffee. I visit primary for the swimming.

Great pub up the road, fed our party of 9 with decent pub grub with efficiency. Ales and ciders on tap. Been three times to Litton lake, will be returning.

Raking the pondweed from entry points to lake would be helpful.

Separate entry points for swimmers and SUP users would be safer.

On site cafe is missing a trick with very limited opening hours. Could hire it out to independent caterers?

Visites during school holidays so was expecting it to be super busy. However there was plenty of space between pitches and it didn't feel crowded. It has a big seperate playing field for children to play in and the lake for SUP and swimming was fab. In and out of the lake whenever you fancied it.
The location was pretty decent if you like a long walk. There was lots of footpaths. We managed to walk all the way to West Bay and get the bus most of the way back.

With this being a non electric campsite they could benefit from having a freezer so you could exchange cool bricks.
There are limited toilets and showers however this should change by next summer as they have planning permission for a permanent block.
The cafe could be open for breakfast a bit earlier with more selection.

This is my second time visiting Litton lakes. It’s basic but wonderful. Happy to visit again. Every you need for a fun weekend paddle boarding in the lake. The stars at night are spectacular

The lake could do with a clean up and rake.
