Lively location and setting. Relaxing but yet fun. Loved the cafe and the lake for the kids!

Really lovely spot, lake is beautiful, great coffee on our last morning. Fantastic that you could use firepits and enjoyed the relaxed approach to where you can pitch.

Lack of mirrors in the new toilet block, and water pressure was a bit disappointing. Also check in by mobile (as cafe was shut) was not very successful and fire pit hire wasn’t an option because it had been locked away 10 mins before the time we had originally been told to come back.

The site, the views. Really flat for a tent and peaceful l. Lovely walks around and plenty of fun to have on the lake.

The showers and water pressure. This was horrendous, no point trying to have a shower really. We made do with what we could and it never stopped us enjoying the break.

Great campsite, lovely lake, nice and flat pitches, very friendly and helpful.

The only thing I found a problem with was the water pressure in the showers, sometimes it literally became a dribble when other people were using the toilet/sinks/other showers etc, this really needs sorting out.

Awesome site with amazing cafe, lovely scenery, great staff and plenty of space PLUS a beautiful lake to swim/SUP/play in

The Lake - while busy nearer the cafe there were quieter spots on the opposite side.

Cafe on site, but prices put us off using but a nice to have if needed

The water pressure, the lack of meant the showers only worked if one person used them at a time (7 odd available) and no one uses the taps. Major problem when you need a shower post Lake swim. I wish that we had been informed before we arrived of the water table situation and we would have reduced the time we were there.

The old shower block had no hot water for washing up and toilets smelt.

Lack of soap in the toilets never replaced in the week we were there.

Larger and busier site than expected from pictures, therefore less privacy.

It was very family friendly, but no one stuck to the quiet times.

Day visitors to the Lake made it very busy (appreciate it was August Bank holiday and school holidays so may not always be the case).

Large pitches. Good toilets, they are cleaned daily. Lake is nice - size wise not very big good

Water Pressure in showers not the best. Entrance in lake is very slippery , would be good some water shoes

Location / cafe / not overcrowded / lots more showers and toilets !

Needs to sort the water pressure out as sometimes showers didn’t work at all

FYI - water pressure is low for showers and hand washing. Not a negative, it’s ties in with sustainability and the solar power.
