Visited Saturday-Sunday and booked two pitches for myself etc, and my brother and his family.
The site is lovely and calm, with lots of open space which was great as I took the dog. It was easy to find level space and we tucked ourselves next to each other in a nice corner.
The toilets are basic but very clean.
The owner came round and made sure everyhting was ok with our pitch, which was nice and welcoming.
Really great site to explore the lovely town of Upton, we went to a few pubs and to the Boathouse for tapas which was incredible.

My only dislike was the lack of shower facilities- but we knew this before we booked so I can't take any stars off the review. It would just be a nice addition to a lovley site :)

Location is great. It is an easy 5 min walk to Upton village centre over the bridge which you can access by a tunnel under the road so no need to cross what is a pretty busy road alongside the campsite. There's a short walk around the marina opposite where you can rent boats for the day.
Lots of lovely pubs, places to eat, cafes and shops. Can recommend the Boathouse and Ye Olde Anchor Inn for food.
Short drive to Malvern Hills, Ledbury, Eastnor Castle and Croome Court.
The site is very free flow, no marked out pitches so go where you like. Great for dogs with a lovely walk along the Severn through the big Fish Meadow behind the campsite.
Facilities are basic but all working well and clean.

- Lack of security. There's only a number to call on arrival and no lock on the gate. We left our drive-away awning each day and had no problems but being the only campers in the whole field made us feel a little vulnerable.
- The loos and sink in the cabin are very clean and functional but the whole thing is full of spiders. Had to bend down to avoid a massive web across the door which I forgot about late at night. I didn't mind them but imagine this could be a problem for some.
The road noise was surprisingly loud (wet road didn't help) and constant. It's one of the main routes across the Severn river so traffic seems to cross throughout the night. Nothing the owners can do about that but I guess more campers would mask some of that noise.
No recycling.
No signage at the entrance and as it was completely empty, we weren't sure where it was even though satnav is accurate.
