Thank you so much for your positive feedback highlighting clean park and well kept facilities and the particular mention for Lynda. If anyone staying finds it a challenge to walk to the washrooms we are happy to locate them nearer the facilities if requested. Information wise, we do have some leaflets from local attractions available in the booking office, washrooms and pot wash but, has we are finding more and more now, many companies are only maintaining an online presence and are moving away from leaflets, but certainly something we can look into for the future. There are sign posts on the park directing our customers into the nearby Stourport on Severn and a little further afield Bewdley. A baseball stand/area sounds like a great idea but sadly we do not currently have the space for one.

It was great to see that you thought our park and facilities were clean and tidy.
Regarding the staff member you considered to be rude. She called upon your pitch at 12.10pm to remind you that check out was 12.00 mid-day and that the pitch was booked for another customer that day. To which you, or one of your party, replied that you “wanted to take the dog for a walk”. Again you were reminded of the departure time. At no point was the staff member rude to you or your party. You eventually departed at 1.20pm. Showing little consideration to the customers that had paid for the pitch after you.
When you book to stay on a touring park it may do well to verify the check out times to ensure they meet whatever requirements you have. We consider 12.00 mid-day to be a fairly late check out time.
Leaving a 4/10 score for your own inconsideration is very unfair and I would hope very obvious to readers of this review.

Looking through what you disliked I would like respond.
“Toilets cleaned once a day and dirty not long after cleaned.”
The toilets are cleaned between the hours of 6am to 11.30pm. During that time they are cleaned/checked regularly by the team. Due to the number of persons on park they would have had many checks and cleans throughout the day. The sheer number of guests, including children, would have had an impact on the longevity of the cleanliness.
“Pitches although an adequate size were squeezed together with little room.”
The pitch size and positioning are done to conform with the caravan and camping club requirements. Each pitch is 10m x 10m giving a total of 100 square metres. More than adequate for most people to comfortably set up on.
“Bins constantly overflowing.”
The bins are always a challenge during school summer holidays and other than standing over them all day every day there are going to be times when they are full. It happens.
“Staff did not enforce site rules, especially with dogs off leads.”
Again staff have other duties around the park that they need to attend to, if you saw a dog off a lead, had you have reported it the offending person would have been advised of the rule.
“Playgrounds littered with rubbish.”
Again school holidays, children, fun and enjoyment. Once seen by a staff member during their continuous rounds it would have been dealt with.
“Staff were more concerned with watering the grass around their caravan on the river side field than looking after campers.”
The importance of our guests comfort and enjoyment is paramount but we also don’t intrude on guests constantly asking if everything is ok. All our staff members are available to help guests should they require it.
" riverside" pitches not actually on riverside, could not even see the river, this is not well stated in any description.”
Riverside pitches are about 50 metres away from the river. None of our literature states the river can be seen from the pitches, but a stroll over to the river offers excellent places to sit or picnic and enjoy the views
“Road leading to campsite is a blind single track road.”
It’s a straight road with a single bend at the end with a passing area on the bend, additionally there are further 5 passing areas. We specify arrival and departure times to further ease the traffic on the road.

We have an award winning park that offers beautiful tranquil surroundings with lakes countryside and the river. The reviews from the majority of our guests pay testament to this added to their repeat bookings with us. We are sorry we did not meet your expectations this time but look forward to seeing you again.
