Lovely Location and facilities tidy and clean
Good walk to the village and beyond along the river Would definitely come back one day.

We’re welcomed when we got there and shown to our pitch. Fantastic views and let you’ve up in the position you want. The site has everything you need, very clean and only a 5 minute walk to Kirkby Lonsdale.

Great site. Simple but with all needs, showers and plenty of space for changing and washing everyone.
Dishwasher space and plenty of space for children to play.

The location, the staff, the view. It’s like wild camping but with electricity (if you chose it), private showers/changing rooms. Fresh drinking water, washing dishes area and waste disposal. Club house is great too and you maybe lucky enough to watch a match. About a ten minute walk into the village. A lot cleaner than some of the named sites we’ve stayed on this year! Very dog friendly with lots of other dogs staying on site.

Bins were full to the brim so had to leave rubbish next too. Will be better once the steps down to the field are finished. Maybe showers/toilets could be cleaned everyday?
Couldn’t get on the WiFi but wasn’t bothered as phone signals worked fine.

Great site, spacious pitches and great value for money. Showers and toilet block excellent and scenery just beautiful. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Very well organised set up - had a drink in the clubhouse and enjoyed a bit of rugby too - short walk to lovely village - will definitely be back.

The lady who checked us in was helpful. The view over the hills was lovely and the cute town of Kirkby Lonsdale was in easy reach despite the footpath being closed.

The 10pm noise curfew was absolutely ignored! The first evening, a bloke asked the occupants of the loudest group to calm it down at 11.30pm which resulted in the music being lowered but was followed by 30 minutes of foul language directed at him (even though he'd left). Second night, the camping group wasn't as loud (drunken games but no music) but the bar was louder to compensate!

Great area, close to the small village where there is shops, restaurants and pubs about a 5-10 minute walk away. 30 min drive from Lake Windermere. Site owners super helpful! we arrived without the pump for our tent and she had one to lend us and also gave us extra pegs as it was so windy ours kept coming loose and we almost lost the tent lol. Toilets and showers are average, it wasn’t that busy during our stay so we had no problems using facilities.

Some pegs had to go into the ground fully slanted as they only went in a certain amount before hitting hard ground and not being able to go in fully. It wasn’t a major issue we just put them in at a slant. There was only 2 toilets which wasn’t a problem for us but may be when the site is at full capacity.

Site managers were friendly and couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. The facilities are very clean and in good condition.

Most things about this site , there is very little to complain about , it’s well spread out so nobody bothers you , the kids could run free, the views were beautiful

It was a treck to the toilets and the steps could do with some attention

Large area to pitch with electoral hook ups within easy reach. Toilet and showers clean and within easy reach. This was our second visit and will return again. Lovely village with variety of restaurants and pubs within 15 mins walk.
