Easy to check in, and the pitch we had (no 1) was massive.
Lovely canal walks to a pub not far away.
Nice people at reception.

The road coming into the camp site as a lot of deep pot holes.
Was given the Wi-Fi pass but u able to get any signal on both our phones.

Spacious pitches, friendly staff who were very informative when booking in, really clean and well maintained, nice barbecue and seating areas. Really enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay again. Little boy loved looking at the boats as he walked around

Everything about this site was great and also very beautiful people here are genuine and friendly showers toilets very clean hot running water lovely fire pit and bbq and seating area for anyone to use great canal walks pub close by lovely marina with barges

Booked pitch 7 with hook up was put with other tents no hook up and pitch 7 with hook up was empty for the two days as first time campers didn’t realise the error till we had put up the tent as to which we were only there for 2 days so not worth the hassle of moving it was disappointing because pitch 7 was buy our relatives caravan when we asked if we could get closer we were told not available it wasn’t until I re read my booking I realised it was meant to be on pitch 7

Other pitches apart from 10 looked fine, marina view nice. (only from office area not pitches)

Pitch 10 is not suitable to motorhomes of 6m and over - the turn in with the fence and wooden stake protecting the grass is too tight. If you have a T5 or similar it will be OK. Asked to change pitch but were not allowed.

Pitch was Muddy and couldn't use the awning/grass area, electric was being shared with the pitch next door off a double socket meaning was constantly worried about tripping the fuse.

Paid a £20 deposit for the toilet key, but there was no point as it was always open. Did not see the point of locking it to be honest, its a closed site.

Often a queue for the combined toilet/shower - not very clean and I certainly wouldn't use the shower unless I absolutely had to.

Smell from the septic tank was pretty bad.

Road in has a lot of potholes.

It was our second time staying on this site and once again, cannot fault it. We requested two pitches together as we were travelling with family and the site was happy to accommodate. Pitches are a good size with plenty of space for the caravans and room at the side - we had one fully hard standing and one half hard standing and half grass. We do prefer the ones with grass with having a little one but wasn’t an issue. The pitches being fully serviced is also a big bonus for us!

We didn’t use the on site facilities a great deal but they seemed clean.

We did have to leave a night earlier than planned and unfortunately didn’t know this until after reception had shut, but the gentleman we spoke to on the phone was very understanding and we arranged return of the facilities key and our deposit around this with no issues - thank you!

The on site shop within reception doesn’t sell anything that would help with a stay EG basic food/toiletries etc. isn't really an issue for us as we bring our own and there are plenty of shops within a 10 minute or so drive, but just something to keep in mind!

Wi-Fi didn’t work for us on the touring pitches which again wasn’t a problem for us as we weren’t expecting to use it, but may be an issue for others.

Quiet location, away from busy life. Good facilities

Not a lot to do, canal walkway was locked.
