There is easy access to this site and the pitches are flat and spacious. There was a warm welcome from Jake when we arrived. Site security is good and there is a supermarket and restaurants close to the entrance. Worcester can be accessed by public transport and from Worcester there are rail links. Even better, there is an enjoyable (40 min ) riverside walk into Worcester.
The shower/ toilet block is brand new and excellent. No charge for showers.
The view of the river and across to the Malverns from the touring pitches is lovely. The site has a very relaxed feel.

There was nothing we personally disliked. The site is under development and clearly is going to be festooned with static caravans before too long. This will give it a different feel. At the time of our visit there are a lot of empty static plots laid. The toilet/ shower block is centrally placed on the site but because of the site levels, from the middle touring pitches there is a short walk to reach them (up a slope or using steps). The down side of the site being easily accessed from the M5 is that there is some constant motorway noise.

Access to the river Severn for fishing is great, and in truth the reason we stayed at The Ketch. The site (as described by others) is under a degree of renovation but caused us no issues at all. We had EHU but didn't need to use it. We were met by Jason who was very pleasant, explained everything we needed to know and made sure we knew if we needed anything during our stay to just reach out. We found the pitches to be of a good size, but our playground for 2 days was the river! I would say this site is perfect for those who want to fish or use as a stop off during a lengthy trip. The facilities were clean and tidy, good clothes washing facilities and well lit. It felt safe which is important. Its well documented in some reviews about the distance to walk to the wash and toilet areas. Its absolutely fine for able bodied people, I would say a challenge for those who are not, but still achievable. The toilet areas are positioned for very good reasons and the owners are transparent with the description they provide. The site isnt a Butlins or Centre Parcs but it isnt portrayed to be either. Its a simple, clean and well positioned site, close to Worcester that was perfect for my son and I to create some memories together. We will be back.

Nice sized pitches with fishing just yards from the pitch & with 2 pubs & 2 shops right outside it’s very convenient as we went to fish

The showers only hooks was on back of doors so your stuff got wet , shower didn’t stay on long enough, no hairdryer ,water went out under the doors , wasn’t enough room to get dressed.three toilets and three showers in women’s and three in men’s,
The wash up for pots was in shower room and no washer,
The only access for toilet was up steps if you had difficulty walking it’s so far away from the touring site it’s closer to the static which doesn’t make sense
The waste you have to carry up steps and walk along way again if you have difficulty walking this is a problem ,
There is a main path anyone can access and walk through the touring park this did make me feel a little unsafe at night , road was very noisy I know this car t be helped but in night sounded like a race track.
There was a massive hill behind where u park you wasn’t allowed to walk over to toilets you had to walk around this site is clean but it felt like it wasn’t thought through for touring tents vans and rvs .

Location is great,.Lovely easy walk along the river seven into Worcester. Right outside the site is a Toby, Harvester, Aldi and B & M's.Warden really helpful and informative.

Walk to the Showers and Toilet block ,especially if you're on pitches 1-15 . Also only 3 Showers and toilets for the ladies and 2 of each for the Men.At peck time this really wasn't enough ,no Toilet roll in two of the toilets and shower cubicle is so small,clothes get soaked .

By the river if you like fishing,nearby pubs and Aldi supermarket.

One water tap for about twenty tourers,long uphill walk to shower block and empty grey waste and chemical toilet,not good if you are an older person or have a disability.Showers are impossible to control and extremely hot even dangerous.The upper part of the site is being developed into a static caravan site,all very close together,could get very busy and noisy when finished.

Newly built Toilets/showers too far away from pitches the only access is from pitch 1 or 21 via a hill or steps (then a walk to the back of the static pitches) no access to toilets/showers in between these pitches.
Shower cubicles x3 in ladies and men’s are approx 1 metre square with only three hooks on the back of the doors and a wire corner tray for shampoo etc. No dry space for drying down.
No squeegee or mop for cleaning up after yourself for the next person to use.
Didn’t understand why the washing machines and dryers were in the men’s toilet/shower area and the wash up sinks were in the ladies toilet/showers area??
Tried the family room to see if it was any better loads of space but no mirror and the water from the shower covered all of the floor area instead of directly draining down into the shower drain or being contained in the shower area there was a squeegee for cleaning up.
The above points are with no detriment to the people who run the site but the planning and building could have been thought out much better in my opinion.

Extremely long walk from pitch 2. As quite elderly was not suitable. Road noise we were not advised about. The young man was quite vague with directions walking into town as he’d never done it. Parts were difficult if you had any walking problems. Bus timetable given was not complete so went to tourist information
