-small size of the campsite meant that it didn't feel overcrowded and all the amenities were close by
-we had a family pod and the beds were very comfortable and all the practical things were included, such as cool box (not the biggest though so don't arrive with too many things that needs refridgerating!), kettle, fire pit, picnic table, drinking water from nearby taps
-beautiful views
-quiet, peaceful location
-nice that cars weren't allowed on the camping field, so it was safe at all times for kids to play
-nice little play area for children

-would have been good to have sheets and pillows provided for the single beds and not just the double bed in the pod

Lovely clean facilities, friendly helpful owner, great fire pits and good value logs.

Loved everything about this campsite, very clean facilities, great location, beautiful views and we can't speak highly enough of James and Claire, they couldn't help you enough. The site was very well maintained and we even had barbecue stands and fire pits. You couldn't park next to the pitch but this didn't bother us in the slightest as huge easy to manage wheel barrows were provided to bring your stuff to the pitch, plus it helped with our daily step count and kept the field lush and green. We will definately be back here as so much to do and see in the area and 5 stars doesn't do this site justice.

Stunning site, with very clean and amazing facilities. Hot showers, hot tap water, and very friendly owners. Flat grounds with fire pits provided and a small table too for each pitch.
The site itself is a 20mins walk into Ironbridge

Not a big deal as I can understand that the site wants to protect the grass but it’s worth noting that you can’t have your car by the pitch. But the site provides you with wheelbarrows to move your camping gear.

Lovely quiet little site. No large groups, just a few couples and folks traveling together.

The facilities were a little basic, but they were clean and everything we needed was there. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Lovely views of the Wrekin and close to Ironbridge.

You can't park in the grass, but that wasn't a problem as the site was small, and the giant wheel barrows were lost of fun!

It was a very lovely place for kids and a wonderful place to spend time with the family away from the city traffic. Very helpful and polite hosts, we will definitely come again and why not, we will also invite friends.

Very impressive campsite, I camped for 2 nights here and enjoyed every moment. The campsite is spotless throughout.

A 10 minute walk from the campsite you will find a co-op, cafe and pub.

A 20 minute walk from the campsite you will find the Iron bridge and many shops, tea rooms and restaurants.

The area is lovely I can't wait to visit again

Fantastic stay in the Shepherds hut. What a treat for us and the children to be on such a gorgeous site, excellent clean facilities and unbeatable views. We only live in Telford but it felt like we were much further away!! The hut was cosy, warm, it was so handy to have the appliances and the little heater too. Our kids really loved the firepit and playing football on the grass! We will definitely be back again and maybe stay in one of the larger huts!
