Wonderful and faultless stay. Caroline was very welcoming and helpful on arrival, providing us details about all the facilities and where to pitch the tent. The setting is beautiful with the sound of the stream always present, and sheep in the field opposite. At night it is peaceful (except for the running water of the stream), and all in darkness so on clear nights the view of the sky is lovely. Roy was very cheerful and polite too. Although we didn’t need to, I feel like should there have been any issues then Caroline and Roy were both very approachable and would have done anything to resolve any issues.
Perfect location within an hour of attractions such as Powis Castle and Chirk Castle.
Facilities were clean all the time, and never had to queue for them once. Showers were hot, and there was a hairdryer in the bathrooms too. Washing up facilities were clean and tidy, with hot water. Toaster, microwave, fridge and freezer all available for use too. As well as a washing machine and dryer (£3.50/£1 respectively). Currently no signal for me on the site, but wifi worked well and it was nice to escape and relax. Faultless stay and very affordable which included electric hook up! Would 100% recommend and would 100% stay again. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

Campsite is clean and peaceful. The owners met us on arrival and we’re very welcoming and friendly, helped us find the best spot for our van and assisted in placing our ramps to even us out. The facilities are clean and inviting and there’s a room for washing up and games provided.
The showers were nice and clean with hot running water and the site itself is very well kept.
There is a pub near by and we were given a map of the site with directions. I Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely be back for a longer stay.

There’s no phone signal and WiFi is limited but that was fine for us on our 2 night stay, I would recommend downloading any tv or movies to devices before arrival so that you don’t need to rely on the WiFi. There is a phone on site if you do need to contact someone.

The site is very clean, quiet and well kept. The amenities are excellent. There is a pub a short walk where you can find nice, cheap meals and a pint or two! The hosts are very friendly and helpful. Lovely campsite but we stayed on a hard pitch with electric hook up - would highly recommend.

We arrived later on Friday than we had advised, so dialled the intercom to signal our arrival. We were welcomed warmly and given a full breakdown by Caroline of the sites amenities, nearby facilities and walking paths. The valley hasn't the best signal and so we were also provided with free wifi. Whilst setting up, we required some hot water and a screwdriver for some new equipment which we didn't have on hand and Roy happily provided these for us. They also offered to provide us with a free electric hookup. Unfortunately the weather wasn't the best and whilst on a trip to Lake Vyrnwy, our tent became unpegged - whilst we were away Roy and Caroline re-pegged this for us. That evening the weather got the best of us (our tent is probably more suitable for traditional summer weather) and we made the decision to head back home. Roy kindly popped over and let us know when we return, if we give them a shout beforehand, they will allow us the night that we missed out on without charge.

The site is gorgeous, the camping area runs alongside a lovely stream, ideal for children without too much concern for their safety needed, it has panoramic views and is very tranquil. The site itself is spotless, extremely well maintained and offers extras such as showers and fridge space, ultimately it is a very friendly space to holiday. It offers a close proximity to nearby beauty spots and is in an ideal location.

We would like to thank Roy and Caroline for being so hospitable. We will no doubt see them soon.

Mobile signal but nothing much the site can do. They have provided workarounds such as a free wifi telephone box (lovely touch) and access to wifi. Everything else was spot on.
