Не понравилось: I appreciate it had rained a lot recently however the grass was ridiculously tall. Made it difficult to see any holes in the ground where we pitched and meant we got soaked walking through the grass to get to the toilets, however we would have probably got soaked any way as the weather was not great. A couple of picnic tables would be great for campers to use and the toilet/shower room could do with a revamp and clean.
The grass is a couple of days growth due to the extreme amount of rain . To say it's ridiculously tall seems a bit of an exaggeration. A lot of campers prefer some length as it makes their under bed comfort that bit better.better.
Holes in the ground ? We aren't aware of any.
The toilet block is clean but it's an exterior building so dust will blow in during extreme weather which we have had. But the actual facilities themselves are clean. If you had followed someone in who had not left it how we would wish it is unfortunate. Not everyone cleans after themselves.
You had a choice of pitching anywhere in the site and as cyclists we would have thought that you are used to adverse weather and being equipped with everything you need. We cannot provide equipment for everyone unless we increase our charges significantly.
I hope you recall you were offered hot water and if you needed any provisions both of which you declined. Along with undercover dry storage for your bikes.
We have a lot of cyclists turning up on spec and they are more than pleased with what we offer.
This is clearly not the place for you.

Unfortunately we stayed on a very rainy night, but would guess in good weather it would a super spot to enjoy sun. Close enough to walk/cycle along level lane into village of Nafferton where a few pubs to eat, good Spa & post office, fish & chip shop too, bus service to Bridlington, Driffield & Hull plus a train station. Efficient and friendly welcome from owner who showed us options where to pitch. Seemed popular site with tents as does have shower and toilet, but as we in mohome we used our own facilities as too lazy to walk short distance to them! All in all an excellent campsite.
Не понравилось: We actually liked the possible dislike some folk may comment on - the grass was uncut on our visit. The bonus being no wet grass bits come into mohome. Also it meant there was traction for us to move off after torrential rain so we didn’t get stuck, although it does seem generally a well drained field anyway.

Thank you for your feedback. Sorry you felt the toilet was a long way - but as it's only about 25 yards from the site and there is a 2nd facility in the field, it's a shame you were disappointed.
There is a hot water boiler and a bench in the toilet block so you would have been able to wash up - but we don't advertise that we have washing up facilities.

We do leave cleaning products in the block to encourage people to maintain standards , but not everyone does. You clearly followed someone who had lower standards than we do. So we can only apologise - but we can't follow people in there every time it's used and we do check it as frequently as is reasonable.

The floor was worse than normal which is very disappointing but as you know it was very heavy rain the whole time you were here. And as you state it is a working farm.
Had you brought any issues to our attention we could have dealt with it.
