De camping ademde een 'laissez-faire' sfeer: spontaan en vrij. Zo werd er door de meeste gasten vuur gemaakt en hebben wij dit ook gedaan.

Deze sfeer wordt helaas vrij geïnterpreteerd door veel gasten waardoor bijvoorbeeld het geluidsniveau te hoog is. Ook is het sanitair vuil en wordt dit onvoldoende onderhouden door de camping. Vaak was het wc-papier op.

Het geluid van de snelweg is irritant aanwezig.

Zwemmen en wateractiviteiten alleen via boeking, dat haalt alle spontaniteit er wel uit. Het 'zwembad' is een afrader, vuil water waarin vanalles drijft wat je niet in een zwembad wilt aantreffen.

Betaalde Wifi werkt slecht.

Staff not the friendliest, majority of staff were lovely but found male manager quite offish and female serving pizzas not the most helpful.

Also found toilets often without toilet paper.

Large toilet/shower block.
Amazing activities - we did water walking, axe throwing, wall climbing and the inflatable water course.
Food in the cafe was so good!
Really friendly greeting on arrival.
The people doing activities were lovely.

It was advertised as a quiet site but there was music blasting until midnight.
The toilet block was closed off for most of the Saturday.
Lots of dogs off lead.

It would be great if someone came round after 10pm to quieten people down.

This was our first time camping and it was a great place to stay the lake was lovely and the staff were really friendly and helpful

The showers could have done with being cleaned more often as I felt every time I used the toilet/shower facilities I had to clean them before I used them. Even tho when speaking to staff they are providing water activities for younger children I wish I new the age limits for the water sports so that I could have look at other leisurely activities within the surrounding area

The site was clean, well kept and the staff were friendly and visible to answer any questions. The toilet/ shower facilities were amazing! We’re constantly being cleaned by staff.
Plenty for children to do with parks, water play/ boats/ paddle boards and big fields for ball games.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, didn’t want to go home and waiting for next years bookings to be released to book again.

Most unhelpful, unwelcoming campsite I’ve ever been to. We booked a pitch along with our friends who also booked. I emailed and called weeks in advance multiple times to request that we be pitched next to each other. Their response was always the same, which was “we can’t promise”. We arrived on the Saturday to find that we were pitched in plot 2 and our friends in plot 4 with another family in plot 3 in between us. Best thing about this was that the family in pitch in between us arrived on the same day as us. There was no reason why they could not of pitch us together, other than they didn’t want to, or couldn’t be bothered. They tried to blind us with scheduling science by pointing out that the couple in between us were leaving at a different time to us and other people will be arriving when they go! So what, what difference would that have made? They just went out of the way to make sure we were inconvenienced. Between us we paid £524, all we asked was to be pitched together but this was too much to ask for.

Not only that, we were pitched on a muddy pitched, ask to be moved to another just to see what they would say, “we can’t, our booking system won’t allow us to move you”

Charge an extra £10 per night to put up a gazebo.

Left early, would never go back. 4 other families all said the same. I’ve never said that about a campsite before.

Good size pitches, all pitches rap around the toilet/shower block and only a few minutes away, there is loads to do within an hours drive of the park, loved having a fire on a night time,

It's a same some campers can't clean up after their selfs because as soon as the staff leave in the evening the facilities go down hill a bit,
wish there was more to do on site for younger children and with our children not been competent swimmers just yet they were unable to go on the aqua park,
