Out in the open, plenty of field for the kids to play, within minutes to the closest small pub (delicious Sunday dinners!) and within 20/30 mins from everywhere else if needed.

We couldn’t get the shower to work, just giving out freezing cold water. Nothing else to dislike.

Neil was amazing. Really accommodating. As we were a big group he opened up another field for us so we could spread out and not disturb other campers. Very much appreciated by all I’m sure!
The countryside is stunning and we would highly recommend!

BBQ needs some love and attention.

Beautiful views! Stunning sunset. Beautiful views of the night sky. Lovely and friendly gentleman who took payment off us. Lots of space for kids to play. Very helpful if anything was needed by owner. Our kids had the best time for their first camping trip.

Basic facilities for everyone only 1 toilet and 1 shower. Dogs were not kept on leads as it was stated on the gate that they should be. Noisy music banging until 4:30am by the group in the field next to us, we have young kids, we didn't enjoy our last night there, hardly any sleep. - not the site owners fault on that one. Now about the road closures everywhere in the local area! Took us 1hr 20mins to get back from a simple trip to get some BBQ food. We only live 1hr 30away from the site. - again not the owners fault.

Lovely little campsite

This place is a true hidden gem. Feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful and peaceful campsite. The farmer Neil and his family are very friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful stay and have made some friends for life with other campers. Fantastic atmosphere, stunning views, friendly people. Will deffo be back!

Lovely site with beautiful views (even with the almost non-stop rain!)

Facilities are basic but everything you'd need from a semi-wild type site - flushing toilet, sink with hot water and a shower.

Was also easy to find and we pretty much had the site to ourselves which was an added bonus!

Price was also an absolute bargain

We weren't after much. It has a toilet and shower., facilities are minimal, but we weren't after fancy and they suited the trip well. Remember to take toilet roll just in case.

Yes there is only one toilet and shower but we didn't find this a problem at all
The shower was lovely and warm. Not sure what previous problems were but you only need to turn the gas on not touch the shower unit and all will work perfectly.

Not a lot really, site is a bit remote, left it late to book anything so limited choices.

When we arrived the owner was not on site, took 3/4 attempts to get hold of him to find out which pitch we were on, I informed him of what I had done to get our hook up and he said it was fine until someone else returned later that night. Toilet is a shed with a single toilet with a single shower in the same shed, and people were washing their dishes there too, not enough facilities for the size of the site.
