Lovely views and mostly flat camping area. Lovely friendly welcome from the farmer. Toilet block was clean and pizza available at night and breakfast in the morning. Nice homemade rope swings for kids. Rubbish collection in the morning came to you.

The site was quite full and not easy to find a space away from everyone. Needs another toilet block near lower site and more water points. Groups allowed and curfew of 11 pm ignored till the early hours with music and drunken shouting. Unfortunately those campers take advantage of the owners good nature in having a relaxed approach.

Friendly owners who made us feel very welcome. There was a lovely calm vibe to the campsite even though it was busy. The shop was handy for any bits (marshmallows and a disposable BBQ) that we had forgotten to bring.

I needed some last minute accommodation, called the site and spoke to Amy who was really friendly, said to just turn up and pay on the day, on arrival there is a lovely little farm shop selling local and popular food/drinks... you can also go visit the farm animals round the back in the barns.... 4 fields to choose from (I didn't need hook up) bottom 2 were half empty so plenty of room and wow the view was simply amazing!! Had Greek food for dinner off site (local van comes down) one night and homemade pizza the next... absolutely delicious 😋... I stayed to do a charity hike and decided to have an extra night, easily facilitated by the campsite and Amy even made the effort to say hi and speak to me about my day... yes the toilets in the morning needed attention but that's the campers not the owners! They can't be awake 24 hours a day! Cleaners were on site very early in the morning.... I slept really well, I didn't experience anyone being noisy past 10pm and the farm specifies 11pm cut off quiet time which is reasonable.... can't fault it, will be bringing my daughters next time and can't wait to come back 😊

Lovely sites with beautiful views and location. Just 5 minute drive from Bakewell.
Did the Monsal trail, visited Chatsworth, Buxton, and explored the local area.
Several fields to choose from. Dogs and firepits allowed.
Shower block up at the top of the site, toilets on the field.
Phone signal variable - enjoy the peace and quiet!

Best campsite I've stayed in a while the atmosphere is on point the mixture of family's and groups etc.. was great it's my second time and will be going back again!!

Great location, choice of where to pitch, ease of access to walks, little shop on site, food truck on both evenings and mornings, good value for money

Very loud music being played until 1am on the Saturday night (not the fault of the site!), could do with a few more toilets & showers for the number of people there

Lots of space, laid back vibes, even on a busy August weekend! amazing location to hike lathkill dale directly from campsite, beautiful sunset views over the valley, clean showers and toilets, never had to queue for too long, fire pits to hire, dog friendly

Really enjoyable stay, super relaxed. Love that you can just pitch up where you fancy. Rope swings kept the kids entertained. Owners of the site really friendly. And excellent location - right on Lathkill Dale, lots of beautiful walking routes available.

(Being fussy) the showers could do with a bench and/or some more hooks to make the showering process easier!

Large laid back site. Pitch wherever you want. Toilets were clean. Shop on site for essentials. Site owners extremely accommodating and friendly. Great location and gorgeous views.
