Nice big site, 4 fields to choose from to pitch up. We choose the bottom field with a lovely view. The site was family friendly and had rope swings dotted about to keep the children entertained. We hired a BBQ/ fire pit and there was the option to purchase pizzas the first night and Greek style food the second.
The small small toilet block was clean and modern.

The shower block and main toilet block was located at the entrance to the site which was quite away from the bottom fields.

Loved my 2 nights at Haddon Grove, it was my first time camping alone and it couldn't have gone any better.

It was already quite busy when I turned up Friday evening but I managed to find a lovely space to pitch. The views from this site are amazing and it's so nice to be able to go on walks straight from your tent.

I found the toilets and showers to be clean whenever I used them, i went to the shower block early to avoid the rush but never actually saw anyone queuing.

Friday night there was a pizza oven, and Saturday night there was pizza, Annie's kitchen, and a milkshake machine!

The atmosphere on the site was buzzing which I liked, but if you're after a very quiet site this may not be the place for you. Lots of groups of friends and big families all having a good time, as I say I liked the atmosphere but can see how it might not be for some.

Little shop is very handy and I have to recommend Catherine's Cakes, I even drove to her honesty box in Tissington the day I checked out to get some more!

Not a dislike but just a suggestion, I would love to see more hooks or even a shelf in the ladies shower cubicles. One hook is not always enough space to put your stuff.

Our first time camping! Lovely location, the hosts couldn’t have been nicer or more helpful. They had delicious cakes and also firepits with logs available.
Even though it was busy it was peaceful.

Absolutely loved our stay at haddon grove farm, stayed for 2 nights, picked the most amazing spot with amazing views. The campsite was extremely clean, the facilities were spotless, toilets clean 2-3 times a day, easy access from the furthest field we stayed in, some rope swings for kids. Cows in the field next to us, definitely be back. We went to bakewell town, visited the church, museum, and went back through alport, parked up and walked round there got some amazing pictures from around there. We did the walk through the cow field at the campsite, and throigh the gate, down the trail it can be steep in some areas, we hiked to the bottom views are amazing. Will definelty be back

Small toilet block. Showers far away from where we were pitched. Lack of shop. Completely understand the reason why.
Would be amazing to have a more farm shop/cafe situation.

Tidy site with good choice of pitches and fields to choose from.
Good access to local footpaths and walks through Lathkill Dale.

No clarity on which field is for families and which is for quiet camping. We were kept awake beyond the stated quiet time of 11pm and woken by extremely loud children at 6:50 on one occasion.
A young man who delivers wood around the site was at one point riding a quad bike and doing donuts in the camping field extremely close to my vehicle and tent and where children were playing. This was quite shocking.

The views! Stunning! Clean facilities, warm showers, site itself is clean too. Amazing and peaceful. Perfect location to most of the popular beauty spots

Lovely clean family site with very clean toilet block on site. Very quiet & peaceful at night time & not too over lively during the daytime. Great site atmosphere & perfect all round site for families or single person campers etc

Showers are quite a walk away from the top end of the site & not many on site for the size of the site but still a lovely site to stay on

Very warm welcome by the owners who attended the camp shop throughout the day. Great location 10min from Bakewell. Nice choice of fields to choose from, a couple more sheltered and one more exposed with southernly views.

To be fair, this was August bankholiday and the campsite was very busy. Some of the facilities struggled with the numbers, particularly the top toilet block which lost water pressure under the intensive use. I believe additional cleaning shifts were put in but I have been to campsites with more available / numerous / better finished facilities. Think the facilities / campsite capacity ratio could be improved.
