Could offer stay without EHU at a slightly cheaper price.
Only staying one night, i would have liked a longer stay.

Lots of space and great facilities, perfect for our overnight stop :)

Lovely little site - peaceful, facilities in good condition, and felt safe as a solo traveler. Nestled away out of site of any passersby, nice views and good condition pitch.

There was a riding lesson in the arena when I was packing down and I was conscious of distracting / scaring the horses with the fly sheet of my tent.

Would have been helpful to have been informed when lessons are scheduled as to avoid timing clashes with tent set down.

Phone signal was temperamental and couldn't see anything that indicated wifi available.

very quiet and peaceful with a lovely dog walking area for those quick trips out of the van for an "empty", plus dog waste facilities at each end of the walk

Second visit to this fantastic little site, we first stopped in Sept 24 and said we would be back...Two nights again, the site is only about 35 mins. from home so a perfect weekend getaway.. for the two of us and Skye the cocker spaniel.. I have scrolled through some of the lesser reviews and can't quite understand the moans... The site has five large pitches, the toilets are small and quaint and always clean. Recycling point too, A perfect tiny circular dog walk with bins at either end.. As for WiFi who cares, peace and quiet is what you get here... apart from the noisy sheep, hens, geese and occasionally a dog or two...But it is a working farm, again this is what we are happy with....Can't recommend this site enough.. As for "you don't see the owners,". .well you don't really. Had a "morning" and a wave.. that's fine by us too,.they are busy.. You get a very extensive email before you arrive quoting the postcode with local directional info, which pitch and times, when they are available from.. what more can you ask for.

no welcome or shown any facilities on the site.the site uses organic toilet fluid
no mention of this until you go to empty the tank not even on the site rules which we found on a scruffy piece of paper in the information hut.
shower needs a revamp.
the site lighting needs repairing along the fence path.
wifi non existent unless your very close.

We really enjoyed our 5 nights stay at this small and quiet site. The view from our pitch was down to the small lake, pretty nice especially in the morning , when we could watch the sunrise. All pitches were quite flat and suitable for either tent , camp van or caravan. Size of the pitches was big enough to put our tent, car, trailer. And there was still plenty of space to walk around. Because of the size of this site the toilet block and washing up area were pretty compact, but then again, for only 5 pitches it was plenty enough. If all guests are considered about another ones ,it shouldn’t be any issue at all. The owners visited block regularly, adding the toilet rolls and cleaning if needed . The big light on the toilet block lit all area up to the last pitch and let walk there without any torch. We were a bit worried about noise in the night, because it was a working farm, but it was really quiet and peaceful. Obviously we could hear some noises of nature, what was natural for the rural area, but nothing serious , that could affect our night sleep. There were prepared bricks if you would like to use your portable barbecue, but we didn’t use it, because we had mini oven and hot plate. Location was great as well, not too far from the main road, but far enough do not hear any road traffic noises. Staying at this site was good value for money as well. We would definitely recommend this place if you would like to have some relaxing time and we would like to come back again as well.

It wasn’t an issue for us really, because we used our mobile data, but both our Samsungs and both iPhones could see the network, but did manage to connect to it. No way it would stop us from coming back))))
