What a fantastic weekend we've just had at Glan Y Gors!

1. The site was incredibly clean, tidy and well looked after.
2. Very quiet, there weren't many people on the site whilst we were there but everyone was respectful of the rules.
3. Toilets were cleaned regularly and the shower was nice and hot.
4. Amazing sunsets and star gazing.
5. The kids loved the animals that were around the site.

Overall it's a basic but clean and comfortable site with friendly owners.

There was no fire wood to purchase on site, this is usually a rule with sites where fires are allowed so not a negative but maybe just state on the website that we need to bring our own. It wasn't an issue so much as we just went out and purchased some but we didn't have any for our first night.

I really lovely quite site. Lots of animals around to see and beautiful views. A lovely warm shower and the owner made sure we were able to park both our vans together despite only one of us having an electric hook up. There was a really lovely atmosphere on site as well which was in no way crowded.

The locks on the toilets were a little difficult to lock and unlock.

We stayed in our van at Glan Y Gors for a night and really loved the site. We were met on arrival and the owner (can't remember your name, sorry!) was super helpful and welcoming. There were a few other couples, some young families and a couple of groups of friends, and it felt like a really friendly, chilled site. It was also lovely to see the animals (although one of the goats clearly didn't like me, but I did make friends with one of the cats) and the views were amazing. We got an incredible sunset, which was an added bonus.

Overall, really lovely site and will definitely be back.

Both Jeff and Karen are beautiful people who are so helpful. I stayed for 3 days and then booked again and again and ended up staying 11 days. The views are stunning and the sunsets are beautiful. It’s worth it for a quiet place to relax or to take a family. Plenty of grass to play on and the showers and toilets are cleaned all the time. I can’t fault this place. I will be back. Thanks you to both of you especially for the free night when I picked the wrong pitch and paid too much that was incredibly kind, see you both soon. And to anyone looking this is a lovely quiet place with Abergele beach about 15-20 mins away with free parking and lots of fun things for kids and adults to do alike also same distant to Colwyn bay. Endless choices. Plus a large Tesco is easily accessible on the way :-)

The area was lovely. Toilets and showers were very clean. Spacious pitches. Plenty of room for the children to run and play. Excellent, helpful hosts. Full mobile phone / internet signal.

Honestly cannot think of any negatives at all from our stay.

Quiet, organised campsite with fantastic views and all the basic facilities you need. Great to have the animals around for the kids to see.

Showers worked well but the cubicles are a little confined. Very manageable unless you are a little bigger. Honestly, this was the only negative.

Easy access from the country roads.
We had a level pitch for our tent with electric hook up, bring a 16amp extension upto 20mtrs!
2 x good showers Inc toilet and sink
1 x toilet and sink.
Great views and sunsets.
Amazing view of the stars at night.
Fresh free range eggs.
Quiet location great for families.
Bring a windbreaker too can be a little breezy when cooking outdoors.
Approx' 15 minute drive to Colwyn & Rhos on sea

The campsite is very clean, the toilets and showers are maintained and cleaned regularly the owners of the site are very friendly and happy to help you and suggest places to go or see nearby. The night sky views are amazing due to nearly no light pollution. Will come back and camp again and also recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful stay.
