The stream running through the camp, really large pitches and a friendly atmosphere. Really nice owners. Dog friendly.
Washing facilities, freshwater tap, waste disposal, showers and toilets, games room and bar. Very nice feel to the camp. Will definitely be back.
20 mins to Bala lake, 1 hour to llanberis BUT it’s a really lovely scenic drive!

Nothing really but one thing I did notice that if you are on the outer pitches, you do need an extra long cable for electric. The owner asked us for feedback which I thought was good, he is a new owner so really open to feedback and we did tell him and he happily took it onboard.

There is a lovely stream running along the edge of the site. The hosts were really friendly and came over to check we were all OK once our tent was set up and we were settled. They gave us advice on where to walk and what shops were nearby. Really quiet area away from any traffic.

We experienced a warm welcome from our hosts, the site was fairly small but had a lot of character. The house was beautiful to look at and there was a stream nearby which was calming to listen to. The site has a lot of potential.

The water in the toilet/shower block was freezing, couldn't get any warm water at all, there was no hand soap or drying facilities available .Wouldn't be great if you were camping.

Very run down ,no washing up facilities toilets horrible ,advertise as bar games room they obviously hadn’t been open for long time ,should be removed off pitch up

Such a peaceful site, we pitched next to the river and enjoyed our stay

Sadly on our arrival the owner was really poorly, but managed to verbally tell us what/where to go & do

Liked the area, good location. nicely kept grass, stream, very welcoming. Good for smaller and bigger children. Nice leveled grass area and good parking spaces.

Toilets were not cleaned daily. Too many bugs, moscitos because of the water.

This campsite should be removed from your listings or updated to reflect the actual state of the place! The place looks abandoned. Owner appeared briefly to take our money and then wasn't seen again. The washing up area was padlocked closed. The toilets and shower were disgusting and looked like they hadn't been cleaned for a long time. Couldn't find fresh water access, no launderette, no internet access/WiFi. Games room/bar area/spa facilities were all closed off and covered in dust or being used as storage area! The camping area is tiny and on a slope. Fishing wouldn't have been possible on the 100yds of river access as it was way too shallow. This campsite gives pitchup and Wales a bad name and should be investigated.
I would give no stars across the board if I could.
- Worth mentioning also, it's not far from the main road so you could hear the cars all night quite loudly as it's quite a busy road

Was ok.

Full of midges because of the water so came home full of bites. The owner wasnt very well so the onsite bar couldnt be opened and the nearest pub a few miles away so a bit of a walk

Nice place to stay quite and lots of bird life in mature forest

If you can contact the site with out pitch up and get a better deal
