Clean and tidy site

Family owned, lovely people very welcoming. Site is beautiful. Pitches a really good size. Facilities are spotlessly clean. Loved the woodland walk and especially the enclosed dog field. This is ideally situated for days out to York etc. Very close to park and ride or about 30 minute drive to York Centre. If your looking to just chill out this is the place. Just relax and unwind it's so peaceful.

Not the owners fault but did find dog mess on the camping field.

We had a brilliant stay - the only tent for 4 of our days
Because of that we had our own very clean toilet & shower block
Endless hot water in the showers
Toby our blind dog really enjoyed his stay
The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating- even stored Toby dogs insulin during a planned power cut
They also gave us as much time as we wanted to pack up and leave
Would highly recommend

This is not a dislike just wanted to say that one of the hot taps in the shower block near the tent field wasn’t working but as Iwas the only lady present it was not a problem

I was greeted by a smiling lady in reception, who showed me a map of my pitch and explained where to connect the electricity. No stern face with a list of rules, like you get on some sites!
The gent on the site appeared as I was setting up, to see if I needed anything, all very helpful, typical Yorkshire hospitality.
I was fortunate with my pitch in the grass tent field: I was the only one there so had loads of space and privacy...the dog was in heaven:)
Nice big "exercise field" for dogs and I suppose kids to play around in.
A good amount of grass, that was well trimmed, to pitch the tent on.
The facilities were very nice and well-maintained.
A peaceful midweek break.

If I had to put something it would be that the Wi-Fi doesn't reach the tent field. Not a huge problem and the host explained that they had only taken on the site in April and the Wi-Fi was amongst the things they aim to sort out.

2 words - LOVED IT!!!!

Flat pitch with fresh water close by.
Toilet facilities cleaned regularly.
Dog walking area is fantastic, a real asset.

Cannot walk to a local shop, so make sure you have all the essentials with you.

Foxhill is a lovely site. We actually bought our first caravan from someone sited at Foxhill and we were sited there for a year. We were surprised that the site has new owners and wardens. It’s still the high standard of site we remember though. Nice and peaceful, clean and nice shower blocks.

Nice site. Good pitch sizes. Massive dog exercising field and a little grassed, woody path for them too. Lots of space for the kids to play. Close to York. Owners very friendly.

Having to ask for toilet roll in the ladies to be topped up and running out of hand towels on the last morning.
Not a dislike but a tip, the lower pitches on the rally field are on a slight slope so ensure you have something to level up your caravan.
