The perfect peaceful getaway next to fishing lake so very quiet and relaxing. Solo female and I felt very safe. The pitch was clean, flat and spacious with plenty of hardstanding for caravan and car or camper etc with grass for awning. With a lovely private picnic table area so there feels more than enough space to spread out. There is water and waste disposal but no EHU as yet the owner a very nice man who came to say hello and was most welcoming explained this is in motion however there was a hold up he is working on so watch this space! There is a toilet in close walking distance which was clean but I’d recommend having your own toilet at night as would be too dark. The Alpacas made it feel extra special such funny little characters! There was a lot of wildlife on the field opposite I observed something that may have been a mink at dusk absolutely fascinating! I never made it down to the Folley due to the rain I was advised to check out by the helpful owner and care taker who chatted with me about the Alpacas and wildlife I really loved it here and will definitely be going back. Truly a hidden gem! Thank you it was just what I needed ❤️

Lovely , quiet and well looked after campsite! Plenty of space to walk around with a few ponds on a site.

A very welcoming and friendly arrival from the owners.
The site is very well looked after, clean, quiet and tranquil. In the middle of nowhere with loads of wildlife and surrounding fields - don't forget your binoculars and camera!
Local village only a few minutes drive away. Larger town Epworth 10 mins away which caters for all your needs and wants.
The pitches are a good size with a fantastic picnic area.
A very short stroll away are 3 fishing lakes. Again very well looked after, clean and tidy. There are plenty of pegs and you can also park your vehicle very near to your peg if you want.
The bailiff is also very friendly and welcoming.
There are alpacas on site, very well looked after and friendly. They come over to greet you (hoping for a carrot treat).
Amazing site, owner and staff. So much so we have already re-booked to come back twice!

The facility is well looked after, the owner very helpful and kind, quiet space. Honesty box to pay for fishing, you get a discount if you stay overnight. Cheap and worth the price.
