Lovely peaceful location. Friendly owners. Really like the pitches were mown into the meadow. Wonderful couple of days.

Shower facilities were cramped but we’ve been told they have plans to improve .

Very nice chilled site was there with my 9 year old first camping trip she enjoyed will be returning good hosts

Everything. Lovely site with friendly owners, only stayed the 1 night but was made to feel welcome. The pitches are a good size and secluded from others so you feel like you have your own space and freedom. Nice clean toilet block with a shower.

There's even an honesty shop where you can buy basically anything you left at home, from marshmallows and tins of food to hiring a firepit for your stay. There's a small park area in the centre with balls, a slide etc for the children to play

Toilets are quite far away with a young child, who gives very little warning for needing the toilet but we did take our own.

Very clean, quiet and well run, owners very friendly and kids loved it we will be visiting again thankyou

Very peaceful pretty site and it was really easy to find, we especially loved the individual areas which were also pretty big spaces( lots of wild flowers and long grasses between each pitch) and as a family group of two tents we were put at the end of the site which was great for us as it was private and allowed our dogs a bit of freedom and it was still only a few minutes walk from the toilet and shower block. We met the owners several times and they were absolutely lovely, very friendly and chatty. We are definately planning on going back again soon.

Absolutely nothing

Lovely remote location without the sound of traffic. Friendly owners. Love the meadow field and was very impressed with how spaced out the pitches were. No chance of hearing a snoring neighbour! All round very pleased. Kids toys was a nice touch too.

My little girls were desperate to go camping so I spontaneously booked a night at Moss Rose site in one of the Bell Tents and I am so glad I did. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute we were there.

A big Thank you to Joe and Kelly, who go that extra mile to welcome you and ensure you have a lovely stay.
Thank you for making our first camping experience so special and one to remember!

The site has everything you need and is very clean and for anything you have forgotten… there is the honesty shack! All the small finishing touches were noticed and made me love the site even more.

My only regret is that we didn’t stay longer, but we will be back again soon for sure! 🏕️🌳❤️

Fantastic freedom Campsite!! We had a brilliant long bank hoilday weekend here at moss rose Campsite. The family that runs this site are warm welcoming, very friendly and always happy to help. Its very quiet and remote. You can hear a pin drop after 10pm with kids on site. Kids played in kids area placed in the middle of the site. Plenty of tracks and paths to walk. Beautiful scenery with farm animals. Great idea with the long grass lay out. Toilets and showers are always cleaned. They have a honesty shed should you need any essentials. A small Fridge freezer near by should you need to use. Hire fire pits and wooden benches. Would recomened visiting wallings icecream(15min drive). Park farm mookshake shack (5min drive)
Auction eats. *Great pizzas* (10min drive).

Ps dont drive crazy near by due to very rough uneven dumpy roads (trust me).
