Staff, location, site and shop were faultless, everyone was so welcoming from the start, a real family feel, people who are passionate about their site and guests.
Food in the shop was amazing, returned daily to fill our boots.
Animal experience was better than expected, Dom was extremely patient with my fears of the cows and learnt some new interesting facts about the animals.
Toilets and shower nice and spacious, site has a lovely relaxed feel and nice walks from the site
Can’t wait to return again.

Such a beautiful set up at Ettie’s Field, with really thoughtful touches. We loved so many things about it - the sheltered seating areas made of bamboo, the wildflower areas, the shop selling very tasty cakes and the lights dividing the pitches, which gave it a magical feel at night. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and a brief hot water issue was fixed in minutes. The contactless check-in was very simple and our pitch was lovely and spacious, as were they all, and had been thoughtfully allocated. Each pitch had a chiminea or fire pit and although we didn’t end up using ours it was a lovely touch. Facilities are lovely, homely and clean with nice decorative touches. Loved the eco friendly focus and it was very useful to have the family bathroom, travelling with a three year old. It was a quiet week when we were there so no competition for facilities, but given the relatively small number of pitches I can’t imagine there being a problem even at the busiest times. All in all a lovely stay in a beautiful site.

Smell

Everything, the whole place was stunning. The shower/bathrooms were incredible like little saunas! Was lovely walking around seeing the highland cows and donkeys too.

There was nothing that we didn’t like.

Everything was exceptional. The whole site has a great aesthetic, the pitches were great, we had running water and electric very close. Each pitch has a small wild flower garden separating them, which adds a little bit of natural separation.

The toilet blocks were great! From the outside they look like small, cold wood outbuildings, but the inside is very warm, with nice facilities.

How quiet it was, friendly and helpful staff. The water points are on the same stand as the electric hook up, just in case you can't find them!

Toilet and show cabins were brilliant, very clean and plenty of hot water.

Lovely tranquil site and would definitely stay again & would recommend. The bathrooms are amazing, lovely and warm. The views are stunning. My only criticism is that it would be good for someone to greet you, even just for a minute or so to tell you where everything is & to maybe point out places to visit. There is a pack left but it’s not very informative.
