The showers were Excellent!! A lot of thought had been put in and this really showed. Great showers, lots of space and loved having everything on one room, especially when showering a two year old.
Powerful hairdryers too.
On a bus route to take you anywhere from Penzance to Falmouth.

Friendliest of greeting too, and all information was given on arrival.

Lovely campsite, convenient for the far reaches of Cornwall. The facilities are fantastic, they're lovely and clean, the showers are great in small private bathrooms with a toilet rather than sharing traditional shower blocks, you've got a little room each.

The small shop has the basics, and the on-site bar/restaurant is lovely, the food is great and has a good selection of drinks.

Probably the cleanest showers and toilets I’ve ever seen at a camp site.
Lovely large pitches.

Unfortunately the owners allowed their two very large German Shepherd dogs to wander around the site unsupervised.
They tried to get into my tent. They scared my two dogs.
And not suitable for children despite the site being lovely for kids.
The owner claimed the dogs escaped but they were let out every day (I was there 4 days). Each day the dogs were out and about.
Such a shame the owners allowed this as it’s a great site but if you have reactive dogs, or kids probably best to avoid this site.

Facilities were excellent, amazing showers and toilets , laundry room and access to fridge and freezer for food as well as ice packs was so helpful. Park was great , my kids loved it and kept them entertained for the duration of our stay. Staff were fantastic and very friendly and welcoming. Excellent location and so easy to be on a main road so close to Helston and Penzance, felt really central for all the places we wanted to visit in West Cornwall and the Lizard. Visited June and was very peaceful.

Absolutely lovely site, plenty of space for tents. When arriving we were greeted by a woman from reception who was so polite gave us a little tour around the site and made us feel really welcome.great little play area for kids shower rooms amazing best I've seen on a campsite showers amazing and the toilets are secluded which is awesome I always struggle going to toilets with other people around me but here not a problem which was awesome.nice little shop with the little essentials little tavern which offers a nice selection of cooked meals and a nice selection of drinks also includinga bit of entertainmenton the odd night which was good fun. They also have a freezer/fridge and a microwave available to use which is great aswell.Met the owner who was really polite and down to earth all staff made is feel really welcome all in all a great stay and 100 percent will be back

Everything! Campsite facilities are the best, location is perfect and friendly helpful staff on the site. We had a fantastic week, thank you for having us again! Wish we could have stayed longer! See you soon xxxx

Lovely flat pitch. Lovely clean smart shower facilities. Loads of extra facilities like fridges, freezers and charging lockers and a cafe serving really good food. Above all helpful smiley staff.

The weather

Jackie was a wonderful host. Always went out her way to make us feel welcome. We had a great week. The park was great for the kids age (5) and (7). Tony’s tavern was really good, serving great food and had a good selection at the bar for drinks. The shower and toilet facilities are like new, with your own toilet/shower/sink/towel rail.
Porthleven is just down the road, with shops and good pubs to eat out in. It’s better to drive as the road hasn’t got paths but you can walk through the paths by the corner of the field and around the fields.
