Lovely location, site had everything we needed and it was great having so much space around us (stayed on The Ledge).

Great views, quite, peaceful & very dog friendly.

Road to get to pitches at the top of site (the ledge etc.) very rough and boggy when wet.

Eco-camping offer some really spectacular view’s across the site but especially from the higher pitches such as The Rise, which we thought was worth the premium for privacy, best views on site and almost exclusive use of the excellent compost toilet. The owners are lovely couple who went out of their way to be helpful.
Everything was very clean, but shower and toilet very old so hard to see this at times.

Not enough facilities elsewhere on site and for the cost of the pitch. Paying for a shower seems a bit excessive especially when facilities are really basic and cost of pitch is high.
At times owners presence could seem a bit too much, we arrived early, but I don’t really expect someone to wait for me to check in on this kind of campsite and we would have felt dreadful if we arrived late. A late round to check payments and early morning round to check no overnight arrivals would be sufficient. Dealing with personal requests was greatly appreciated.

Friendly owners, clear instructions, nice location, good fields for tents, good vibes, good drinking water.

Would be nice to have sink to wash dishes and more showers.

If you want glamour of lots of toilets and showers this site isn’t for you. But if you want knowledge, friendly host, with stunning 360 views and the perfect wild camping experience this is exactly the place you want to go!

Hosts were welcoming, and very helpful and knowledgeable of the local areas and good walks from the doorstep!

The field is well maintained and easily accessible, the views from the campsite are amazing no matter which direction you look in.

There are several walks from the site itself so no need to drive from site

Peaceful, dog friendly, one compost toilet and one main plumbed toilet and shower, and raised fire pits allowed.
