A very warm and friendly welcome awaited us. The site is nice with good facilities. The location was good for the surrounding areas. We would come again.

The whole site was on a bit of a slope, not a problem for us as we were at the bottom of the site, however for those in the middle of the site it might be a bit of a problem.

Met by the warden with the comments “Are your dogs going to bark like that constantly”? I explained they were excited but would calm down. The response was if they didn’t my partner would have to leave me with the Motorhome, take the dogs home, and return for me on the Sunday. Initially I thought he was joking but he had a go again the following morning. We wanted to face our friends with our Motorhome doors facing each other. Told this was not possible and we must face a certain way. Woke to find another motorhome’s door opening towards ours. So much for the privacy rule.

Path to Stratford-upon-Avon is not easy to walk/run

The campsite itself was nice . Well kept grassed areas between gravel pitches .

Unfortunately we were pitched on an all gravel pitch at the very bottom of the site . This was next to the roadway so quite a bit of thoroughfare traffic and people walking right past our pitch .
The worse thing was the people on the pitch next to us - we think he worked at the site but we aren’t sure. He spent most of the time repairing a vehicle actually on the pitch next to us using power tools and extremely noisy equipment . Not ideal when trying to relax . The following day there was a group of people repairing a vehicle at the end of the path near our pitch !

The site was quiet and relaxing, very clean facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. There's a bus stop right outside the park that takes you to the centre of Stratford town centre which was lovely and friendly

Site filled up at the weekend, as to be expected, but was really crammed in! Rest of week was much quieter and much more enjoyable

Paul the warden was very passive aggressive, didn’t like our vw conversion, was passive aggressive to my son who was driving (18) and wasn’t dog friendly. We left after 4 hours as we were made to feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable.
Avoid …. And read trip advisor ….

We love this site. Its clean, its quiet, it has all you need close by. Paul was kind enough to call me with a better pitch once he knew a cancellation came in. Staff are polite and have a giggle. We will be back and I'll remember my levelling blocks next time! Thank you
