Before I went I read lots of reviews saying that there aren't enough toilets and showers for the size of the site. I can see that over a busy weekend that could be the case. I stayed Sunday-Friday in July and never had to wait to shower, for the toilet or to wash up.
Let's get to the crux of why I've rated this site 9/10. For a solo traveller it is incredible value for money. I paid £10 per night - I can't recall the last time I paid that to camp. So I think you have to view everything about Dinarth Hall with that perspective. Don't get me wrong, I like an eco-conscious, re-wilded, lavender-infused glamping experience as much as the next hipster, but this is £10 a night!
Could the toilets be nicer? Yes. Are they adequate? Absolutely. Never once did I go to the toilets and find there wasn't hot water.
Could there be more showers? Sure. Were the showers clean and hot? Yes. I showered everyday at different times of the day and there was always hot water.
The location - It's perfectly placed for exploring the North Wales coast. Near to the lovely beaches of Llandrillo Yn Rhos / Rhos-On-Sea. I could hear traffic noise from (I'm guessing) the A470 from where I was pitched but it wasn't too bad and I was pitched in the corner of the field so probably closest to the A470 a couple of miles away.
The site - It's a few large fields so you can really spread out. It means you probably won't have anyone pitched right next to you. It's a farm so you get to walk past horses in the stables on the way to the showers. When I went the camping field I pitched on smelled wonderfully of cut grass.
I will definitely return to Dinarth Hall, it's basic, honest camping at exceptional value for money.
