Great location buses from Austwick village at 2 hour intervals so plan your trips from the bus timetables.Nice walk to the village from the site.Buses to and from some nice places.

Great site but could do with a good review around the bin area on route to the bar ,shop and reception areas.A tidy up a few nice plants and flowers would totally enhance the first impressions for any visitor.

Midnight star gazing, rabbits & baby rabbits, nice grass well maintained, did like the many toilets each with showers just let down by being dirty,
Site owners were helpful and friendly one shower wasn't providing hot water which was signed to let you know & by day 2 someone was out repairing it :)

Very busy site , toilets weren't very clean , main rubbih bins often were over flowing could do with a few more ,areas of site were a bit run down especially staff quarters which can be seen by public as you pass to enter the main field .

Flat, well-kept grassy pitches. Great views of the hills. Very handy for the main road to visit places for the day. Two picturesque nearby villages. Handy shop and bar. Quiet at night and in the morning.

A bit windswept. A few large groups using the site - probably better for a family group, if in a caravan.

Nice big pitch and plenty of open space on the site. The views are amazing. The toilets and showers are together as a small self contained suite. The only problem is that you walk into it directly from the path outside and this can lead to a bit of grass etc on the floor . There are squeegees outside so you can just sweep it out or even better the last to use it should do this.
The bar is quite nice , plenty of tables and there is an outside seating area. Very nice well kept site and we would vidit again.

Little bit of noise from children playing late at night about 10ish. This was just a group in tents behind the walkers cabins.

Well kept family friendly site. Scenic views and friendly staff. Would come back.

Nothing

This is a hard one. Pitch was level and sheltered. Plenty of water taps on site. Pitch areas maintained well. At the back of the site they have shower/toilet units which are good for young families.

On arrival, I was sent to a pitch which had already been allocated to someone else. I was then sent to a pitch that was half being used by a caravan. I pitched up with my guy ropes becoming a tripping hazard for the caravan owner. Luckily they weren't on site the 1st night but the next day they came back and I was told he wasn't supposed to be there and was moved.
My pitch was right next to the entrance to the field and would here the traffic in and out all day and a good chunk of the night. Cars still coming in and out at 11pm. No curfew for traffic. The site is also located next to main road with only a wall dividing the camping field from the road. Traffic sounds all day.

Not the campsites fault but we had a number of campers that left the front toilets (closet to my tent) in a mess. Every day a toilet would be blocked full of poo. Nappies left in the cubicles and sanitary products floating in the toilets. The site did do there checks but trying to take my 4 year old the toilet in that state was not good. Ended up walking to the toilet block further away, where I discovered the shower/toilet units.

Highly recommend the pizzas we all loved them. The site is ideal for doing local trips out. We did Ingleton falls, Skipton Castle and Walk, and Ingleborough Caves and walk
