Dealing with the owner/manager of the site was pleasant too, lovely people! There’s places nearby to walk to, too. We visited as a family, with a 9 and 11 year old and two small dogs. My brother and his family were there too. We had a bbq and a campfire with marshmallows, a bottle of wine, and good music, and the next morning we all went for a little swim in Nant Mill Waterfall and it was a perfect weekend. We will definitely book here again!

I'm very sorry to read this review and genuinely don't feel it gives a true impression of our site as the last 10 reviews from recent weeks have shown.
Yes as others have noted there is one shower/toilet but people know this when they book and given the busy summer we have had we will look to rectify and invest in more but that comes at a big financial outlay. You were in a caravan which I presume had a toilet and you're welcome to drop waste in our tank.
Your first comment is wholly untrue. We go out of our way to make sure the site is clean and tidy including the toilet shower block which is infected daily and cleaned in between. The long grass in two parts is left to make summer hay as mentioned on no less than 4 signs. We are also very wildlife conscious. There is still a large mown seated area and the trampoline, play area, and football pitch around the front which your children used frequently. I also mentioned to your partner when the children were playing with their glider they were welcome to go and play in the large 20-acre field of very short grass with no livestock if they wanted more space. There are more commercial sites nearby however which may be better suited.
I can only apologise if someone didn't keep their dog on a lead, I did mention it to two visitors and apologies if you found some dog mess. A simple message to me or in passing and I would have sorted it. The comment about our dogs off leads is simply not true.
Above all, as a family-run small site, we were always polite and courteous when we saw you and asked if everything was OK on several occasions. I would have hoped with any issues you'd have repaid this and come and spoken to us direct rather than posting an erroneous review that's not a true reflection.

Pigs are friendly and like a belly scratch, which if your a animal lover like myself. It will just bring you joy!
Quite but walking distance to a pub and shop.
