There's nothing worse than pitching up and then someone plonks their tent too close to yours. With this setup, you are guaranteed to at least have your car giving you privacy from the person next to you, and your pitch will look out onto the fields and sky without someone putting their tent right in front of you.
The facilities are basic, but that's all I want from a site. A bit of privacy, enough facilities to just get by and I'm happy. I'll definitely be back.

Easy access to all roads from Coxwold Farm, the owner Jimmy extremely friendly came to introduce himself to us later on after our arrival. He has a barn with owls which he has a viewing point for interested parties, the woodlands surrounding the site is also full of owls & wild life. We used it as a base camp which suited us . Also I went to check out local fishing lakes& sites which he recommended. All in all great 4 day break. . Would return again.

Apologies if the camper van visiting unnerved you, our friend was staying over the road whilst doing some work for us and was just nipping in to top up water and use the facilities. if you'd have mentioned something I could have clarified. I don't quite agree with your muddy track comment. This year we had the track re-stoned along with the widening of the hardstands to make it easier for access, this is on top of tracing the drive at great expense based on feedback from visitors. Even when we've had extreme downpours the track isn't muddy - You are in the countryside, however.
