Beautiful small campsite and very friendly hosts with very friendly chickens.

Only positive comments here. The site had some lovely views, surrounded by sheep, trees and mountains. The owner is really friendly and accomodating, he gave us a tour around the site which we don't receive at campsites very often. There is a shared kitchen which is great and the shower facilities are nice. Can really tell the owner puts effort into the site. You can rent a fire pit for a small amount which is a nice added detail. The camping field is a small size but there are a limited number of pitches so it is not crowded. The surrounding fields that the site owns are lovely so I would recommend taking a walk around the site to take in the views - there are some rope swings dotted about too which is a nice addition for young people.

Raymond’s and roses campsite was a 10/10 experience all around ! We booked it last minute as it was a warm weekend for March. We were greeted with a smile of rose and Raymond when we came in and they made us feel really welcome. We had some good conversations learning all about their little farm animals. The chickens were our favourite. They have a fully equipped kitchen with everything you need and we made some gorgeous burgers for tea and a fry up for breakfast! Toilets & showers were super clean. The surrounding farm fields were also fun to look around and you can find a good rope swing there too ! We will 100% be back again. Thanks for having us Raymond and rose

Everything! Rose and Ray are absolutely wonderful. Ray was so attentive and really engaged with the children. My daughter had also left her necklace behind by mistake and we live quite far away. Rose kindly contacted me to let me know and is posting it back. I cannot fault this place. The beds are really comfortable, the facilities are clean, tidy and all fully functional. The views here are stunning. The firepit along with wood and fire starters was available for a small fee too. I can’t wait to stay again. Perfect for couples and families!

The owners were friendly and welcoming. The pods were spacious enough for me and my three teens. Was lovely to arrive to see the fairy lights twinkling on our pod. The chickens! Really clean, just a lovely place. The grass is well looked-after and they still allowed and provided fire pits (essential to a camping trip!)

Nothing! My son said one of the showers wouldn’t stay on but that’s nit-picking. There is literally nothing I’d change.
