Hi Anonymous, Yes, we are currently trying to complete our glamping area whilst it is the off season. This building is vital to the park but we can appreciate it's not always nice to see. The pitches do not have lighting around them because there are many people who don't want lights around them whilst trying to sleep etc. No doubt if we added lights we would then get complaints about it being too bright. Just because it is half term, it does not change the fact that it's February, it's freezing, and paying to heat our marquee and have staff sit in there for 5 hours in the current climate is not justified by you coming in for a pint. The dictionary defines leisure as "time when one is not working or occupied; free time." So that's why it's called a leisure park? Because you're parked up and not working? Could be wrong but I don't think I am. And finally, apologies the lack of a bar upset you so much. If it makes you feel better I'm staying somewhere that is £35 a night this weekend and there's no bar there either! (It's a travelodge.) |

Hi Kelly,
We are glad you enjoyed your stay and will take your feedback on board. At the moment a play park is hard for us to insure, but should you stay again there is a lovely little park in the village, just a 10 minute walk away :).
You are definitely right about the signage needing illuminating! That's on our to do list (but hopefully light nights are just around the corner!)
