We were met on arrival and kindly shown to our pitch. Our specific woodlands pitch “The stream” was nice and secluded with a wonderful stream just next to it. The campfire available to rent gives for a lovely night as well as the camps Thai kitchen with its sizeable portions.

Our specific pitch was located quite downhill which was fine but a couple of the steeper drops/rocky steps would be something to keep in mind for less able campers.

Lack of bins

Adrian the host made everything for us to enjoy first time camping. Helped us and told us what is around cefn coed to not travel far away and we ended up biking 2 days in a row because there was so much to explore around the camping site. We manged to get a peacfull and quiet place round the lake to pitch up our tent so was fairly private for us! Will for sure come back! Town was 10mims away with the car, beautiful and magical scenery ✨️ 😍

Great location. Staff were friendly. Good value for money. Very peaceful location in the woods. Pitch was a decent size. Facilities were clean and working, warm showers always available. WiFi available at main building. Food available to order in the evenings.

Staff were friendly, site was always clean and lots of space to explore.

There is no bins on site. Was a bit of a pain as we are in the countryside, we had our bin raided by the campsite cat several times. It was so difficult to get it out the way.
Also the toilet block is so small, seen several arguments and passive aggressive gestures between campers due to the frustrations of waiting for 1 of 3 showers or sink or toilet. Plus the toilet block is quite far from tent pitches and up a steep hill.

Also the site isn't kept a eye on that much, dogs were being let off leads and wondering the site. One dog had even destroyed our sons Frisbee, which the owner must of seen and just hid it under a table. We left 2 nights early in the end as found other campers weren't very quiet or the dog situation. Will book on no dog sites in future.

The site, located in our favourite part of Wales, is beautiful, peaceful, friendly and clean. The host Adrian was always around to help with whatever was needed, beginning just after we arrived, when our hire car managed to self-lock with the key inside at 8:30pm, just after we'd put up our tent but before we'd taken anything else out, and with a storm about to break. Adrian took very good care of us--thank you. We're sure to return.

The location and scenery are wonderful, and we also enjoyed the Thai food which you can order from the campsite and is delivered to your pitch.

We were based in the field, and we found the facilities (toilets, showers and washing up) a long way, uphill, from our pitches.
The facilities were basic and insufficient for the number of people staying on the site, and not well maintained.
The campsite does not allow for the disposal of any rubbish which is difficult if you are staying for any length of time.

We had a campervan spot in the woods and it was lovely. Nice and flat and there was lots of space to sit outside the van. It felt quite private and it was nice to be surrounded by trees. Easy access to the estuary and beautiful walks.

There were only 4 toilet cubicles for the entire campsite which led to queues at times.

Very pleasant and helpful owners, great location and good facilities for a 'wild camping' site.
Wifi is available at the main building which is helpful considering the lack of signal across the whole area.
