The site is overall great, we had an amazing time using it as a base camp for our hikes - but there are a few things you'll want to keep in mind, especially during peak times:
The toilet situation is pretty dire - you can't tell when someone's using the toilet, so you constantly have people trying the door while you're in there. The toilets were a bit knackered, too, but at least they were (somewhat) clean.
A lady drives round each pitch in a range rover every morning/night, and she will charge you more if you have more than one tent per pitch - something we didn't realise, so good to keep that in mind. Quite funny as our small, close-knit tents were taking up less room than most other pitches, but rules are rules I suppose - just something to keep in mind if you're travelling as a group.
It's supposedly a 'quiet site', but we had it all during our stay - people blasting music, having full-on shouting matches at 1am, and people getting super drunk and being very loud until the early hours of the morning. Wasn't a huge issue for us - we were there at a peak time, so it's to be expected really. Just something to consider if you're camping with kids, etc.
