This is a lovely camping spot with clean facilities, a wonderful bar/restaurant (we spent a bit of time here in front of the fire) and a shop which is probably the best-stocked you will ever find.
You can order freshly-baked pastries for breakfast and pizza and hamburgers all day - all prepared by one of their chefs.
The surrounding area is really interesting and the Yonne River, just a short walk away, would be a great spot for a dip, fishing and boating in warmer weather.
I really can’t recommend this spot highly enough.

Thanks for the effort in leaving a review but sadly we don't appreciate it because of your wildly misleading comment. The site is NOT "bogged down in mud". Yes, we have experienced a lot of rain and a section of the site is closed off so people don't use it. For you to state the "site is bogged down in mud" is massively misleading to other customers and completely inaccurate.
You neglected to mention the 40 tons of gravel that had been delivered which you drove passed (on the gravel road) which we have used to create new accesses to the hard-standing pitches. We even had a conversation with you explaining that we were spending thousands of euros improving the site because of the unusual and exceptionally wet conditions.
You did use the toilet block because David bumped into you whilst you were coming out of the facilities on your way back to your camper, which you accessed by walking along the gravel road and concrete path.
Anyone visiting the camping has a wide choice of lovely, clean, concrete pitches accessed from a graveled, stone road to choose from. If it has rained heavily, we'd suggest not parking on the grass - as everyone knows, soil + water = mud. Please don't leave wildly exaggerated comments about a site being "bogged down in mud" when this really isn't the case. After the devastation of Covid, we really don't need unhelpful comments like this that can deter future customers when you were fully aware of our efforts and actions.
