Pitched where I wanted, back to basics campsite with showers and toilets which is what I craved. Owners offered fire pits and firewood on the daily and were very friendly confirming booking. Would highly recommend.

The views were spectacular, farmland and the roaches, which were walking distance and a reservoir a stone's throw away for all your water sporting needs.

A most excellent basic little campsite over 2 flat fields that hosted a variety of tents and campervans. You literally drive on and pitch up. We had a lovely view of the Roaches. The site wasn't overly crowded on our Saturday midday arrival with most of the perimeters taken up. The first field had well-stocked clean unisex loos plus a sink station and drinkable water. Showers (£1 for 5 mins) and additional loos/water were also available close by plus the option of £10 fire pit hire and wood that lasted a night. The owners were easily contactable and friendly; they dropped off the fire pit and wood around 6:30 p.m. Fab local pubs are within walking distance - we enjoyed lunch at The Three Horseshoes Country Inn (5 min walk, turn left) and Ye Olde Rock Inn provided a fabulous dinner (25 min walk from camp/5 min drive/turn right). Loads to do in the area if you have more time, so would stay again for the convenience, facilities, great hosts, and affordability!

I could only see two bins; one general, one glass. On leaving early Sunday morning the rubbish was piling up for the general bin so maybe a cardboard recycling bin and an extra general bin would solve this. It wasn't 'festival' amounts of waste but I felt bad that someone would have to clear it up. It was good that the bins were there however as made it super easy to dispose of rubbish on leaving the site but wouldn't be too pleasant if you were to arrive.

Second time staying at the Hollies! We love their spacious field, amazing clean facilities, wood sold on site, Tottersworth lake and The Roaches just a short walk away.

there was no curfew on noise despite it being outlined quiet after ten pm, both nights other campers were playing music well into the early hours and being very loud this was not policed and i can imagine the sound travels so the neighbours would be disturbed also. Not very restful after having hiked during the day.
The toilets didn't appear to have been cleaned all weekend.( i am sure if the site had provided a brush and mop bucket guests would have been glad to sweep and keep the place a little more kept). We took our rubbish home as the rubbish facilities were full to the brim on the first night and upon leaving there was wasted piled high all the around the bin area. Not pleasant...Maybe we came on the wrong weekend as it seems a shame as I read all the positive reviews before choosing this campsite, however I feel it didnt live up to those left by others on this occasion

Lovely campsite, in a superb location, absolutely stunning views, relaxed and easy booking process.
Hired a fire pit which was awesome.
Great toilet and shower facilities.
Definitely one of the best sites we've ever stayed at.
Looking forward to going back.
