Unfortunately the ‘Quiet after 10pm’ rule was completely ignored by many on Saturday night. Eventually some time after midnight the site management had to ask ones to stop their noise.
It’s a shame when a small number are so blindly selfish.

Also Saturday there is a trailer open cooking fresh pizza but there was no advertising for this so this could do with being promoted a bit better. Overall we loved it and have booked again for a few weeks time.

We was a loud group came away for a little fun weekend, we played music at night obviously kept it on the low but was very enjoyable. Your absolutely right it poured down on Saturday lunchtime, we've had a terrible summer so far. Being all grass pitches the rain obviously has to run off and drain away causing a few puddles until it does (thats camping for you) . Although it doesn't take too long as we are on a slight incline. We do however have machinery on site should anyone ever need pulling out.
As for the noise, I personally walked the field at 11pm, everyone was quiet, there was no noise at all. At 12.15am you text me (which i actively encourage anyone to do at any time of the day or night, my number is emailed to every booking and its also on site signage) and I instantly replied with 'im on my way'. Which I did, it took me a minute or 2 to actually find where the 'noise' was coming from. Unfortunately it was a genuine mistake, a solo camper had fallen asleep with his radio on, and to be completely fair to him it was on extremely low, it was just the type of music it was playing at the time and with the rest of the site being silent that's probably why you could hear it ?? I woke him up and he turned it straight off, he was very apologetic. I can only presume you were pitched right next to him?
We appreciate your feedback, and we discuss all comments we receive. Good and bad. We have discussed having night wardens but obviously then pitch fees would have to increase, its an option to think about 👍🙂
