Amenities not amazing but quite clean (except for floors but can’t do much about that), always
plenty of loo roll - only 5 loos & 4 showers which were charged @ £1 for 5 mins of hot water).

It was very relaxed with pleasant owners / staff, lots of room, lots of areas were pretty level and all the other campers, whilst still having fun, were respectful of others and it was peaceful through the night. Basic but clean enough toilets and showers. Would definitely stay here gain.

Nice site we had a field to our selves for 2 days the weekend got busy but so what we can mingle good job we had 4 young campers come next to us 2 couples decided to adopt us for the weekend even got told to go bed by the warden 😂😂😂🍷but made our long weekend would stay again only fault I can give (but it’s not a fault to most campers) is I could not go off site with my scooter bad breathing so can’t walk,but to all you young campers up to 70 years old enjoy loads to do I was happy sat out out the van looking at the views.

This campsite just has a really nice, relaxed vibe.
Toilets are good, the floor gets a bit wet just from people’s feet but the actual loos are immaculate an always loads of toilet paper. Didn’t use the showers but had a nosy inside one and they looked good.
You can pitch anywhere and everyone had loads of space.
No extra charges for a bigger tent.
Pizza van open Saturday night is fab!
Very close to walk to the reservoir. We spent the day there with our kayak which was great fun.
The owners are friendly, they do their rounds of the site often. If you’re having a fire you have to buy the wood off them and can also lend a firepit if needed. BBQs allowed.
Lots of notices around to ask people to keep it down after 10 and site owner shares his number in case you need to report any rowdy campers.
Overall we loved our stay and couldn’t fault the site.

The peaceful location, chilled out vibe (just turn up and choose your own pitch) and the price was excellent. Owners in hand and nearby if needed. Fabulous views. Looking forward to returning!

Spacious site, beautiful surroundings

Lots of special herbs being consumed...
coming from Holland, we're used to these scents, but for us it was not the proper location ;-)
Not enough toilets for the capacity of the camp site, resulting in queues in the morning

Excellent value for money.
One Mile walk from The Roaches with fantastic views.
Though toilets are basic they are clean.

The pizza trailer was not operational on Friday night because of a prior engagement.
A sign should be displayed to notify campers as we were left with no alternative than to go up the road to eat at pub which worked out very expensive.
We were not greeted by anyone on arrival.

Huge area to camping. Excellent attention. Clean and quiet.

Toilet facilities and showers are in main entrance which is very long distance from the pitch area that we stayed.
